THE PRETENDER DRINKING GAME
Version 1.1 (1/22/97)
Inspired by Tonia Lorenz and created by Sara Arnold with help from members
of the Pretender-L mailing list.
For the purposes of this game, a "drink" refers to one swallow of your
beverage of choice. If M&Ms are substituted, one M&M = one drink.
Take one drink when:
Jarod eats pez.
Jarod gives anyone a saturnine look.
Jarod smirks at anyone.
Two drinks if it's Miss Parker.
Jarod watches a DSA with a date between 1968 and 1972.
Jarod calls Sydney and/or Miss Parker.
Jarod watches something on videotape.
Jarod copies a file from someone's computer.
Jarod asks someone to do him a favor.
Jarod introduces himself by first name only.
Two drinks if it's to a child.
Jarod speaks another language.
Jarod looks at a newspaper article pasted in his red notebook.
Bonus drink if there's more than one.
Miss Parker smokes a cigarette.
Broots cowers at Miss Parker.
Sydney says that Jarod is trying to tell him something.
Two drinks if he calls it a "bread crumb."
Three drinks if he actually figures it out in time to use it.
Sydney smiles at something Jarod does.
Miss Parker is enraged at something Jarod does.
Anyone mentions The Centre.
Jarod Pretends to be something other than his main role.
Brigitte licks or is sucking on a lollipop.
Mr. Parker calls Ms. Parker "angel."
Jarod answers somebody's question of who he is with "Someone who wants...."
Take two drinks when:
Jarod discovers a new sugary and/or junk food.
Jarod contacts Sydney other than by phone.
Bonus drink if Miss Parker finds out and crashes the party.
Jarod sends Miss Parker anything.
Jarod "sees" his mother.
Bonus drink if he "hears" her.
Jarod's father is specifically mentioned.
Jarod watches a DSA with a date other than 1968 - 1972.
Jarod says money doesn't interest him.
Miss Parker runs after Jarod.
Bonus drink if she's wearing a short skirt.
Sydney or Miss Parker calls Jarod a Pretender.
We see Miss Parker as a child.
We see an experiment performed on another resident of the Centre.
Bonus drink if it's twins.
Miss Parker finds out something about her mother.
Jarod picks his lastname from a nearby word
The precredits sequence leads you to believe that Jarod is being chased by the Centre
Take three drinks when:
Miss Parker calls Jarod a "one-man Siegfreid and Roy."
We see Mr. Rains.
We see Jarod sleeping or in bed.
We hear Mr. Parker's voice.
Bonus drink if we see Mr. Parker
Anyone mentions Delaware.
Anyone tries to kill Jarod.
Bonus drink if it's Miss Parker.
Jarod uses a first name other than Jarod.
Someone figures out Jarod isn't what he's Pretending to be.
Miss Parker wears an outfit without any black in it
Take four drinks when:
Nobody makes any attempt to catch Jarod in thhe episode
Take five drinks when:
Anyone employed by the Centre is seen driving a vehicle that isn't black
Take six drinks when:
You regularly call plot twists over a year in advance.
You say the dialogue before a character can get the line out.
Bonus drink if it's a Miss Parker insult.
