Subject: unreal pretender dream
Here is the ultimate Pretender dream. I am a captive in a sex house and this
man controls me and some other women. I plan an escape for us all. We act
on the escape with the help of my brother (I don't really have a brother).
All the girls are in my brother's van when I see the owner (of us girls) and
he is closing in on the only girl still coming toward the van. I make a
decision and I jump on him, the girl gets in the van and I tell my brother to
go. They leave.
The man then takes me back to the "house" and beats me. The next day I am in
the kitchen when there is a knock at the door. The man opens it and it's
Jarod. He says he is there for a girl and he wants me. The man sends us to
my room. Jarod tells me he is there to help and I tell him he has to sleep
with me because the man has hidden cameras in my room and he will know
something is up. We do.
Then Jarod leaves and the man is going to rape me and Jarod attacks him and
makes him confess to his crimes (enslaving us girls and even murder).
Jarod takes me away to the ocean and we make love. He tells me that he has
to leave and some details of his life with the center. I understand and we
make a secret way of contacting each other through the NY Times. About a day
or two after Jarod leaves, Ms. Parker and Sydney show up at my door. I
tell them that Jarod saved my life and I haven't seen him since. They
leave.
I find out I am pregnant and I send message to Jarod. He comes just as the
baby is born. He leaves in the night. And that is it.

Subject: okay, a dream
okay, actually, it was MTW, and he was in to my sign language class... I
woke up before anything much really happened, but I remember he was
incredibly nice.

Subject: I had a Pretender dream
Well last night I had this really bizarre dream. Michael Weiss and Andrea
Parker were in my dream. it was so weird. Anyway I was in this beauty parlor
waiting to get my hair cut by some fancy very expensive stylist when Andrea
Parker walks in. I see her and I start gushing about how much I love that
show and that she does a terrific job. She looks at me like I'm crazy but
thanks me for the compliment. I leave because the wait is too long and then
later on I see AP again at a very popular Hollywood restaurant and this time
she is much friendlier. In this part of the dream, we end up chit chatting
about the show and like what she's been doing lately. Remember this is only a
dream, but in the dream she was wearing this huge engagement ring and she
mentioned it was from "her Daniel".
And that was it. How totally bizarre.

Subject: Dreaming "THE PRETENDER" in Induced Sleep
In my dream, I was looking through a catalog that lists all of the music
artists, and I found a listing of a CD for the beginning theme for THE
PRETENDER. I was so *shocked*, I woke up before I was able to read who
the artist was, who provided that CD. No, it was not THE GREAT PRETENDERS
(that we frequently get during a search), it was our NBC show THE
PRETENDER because it was written with "beginning theme" along with "THE
PRETENDER" right after that.
