DIE-CAST TOYS

Die-Cast Vehicles, Kenner, 1978-1980
   Metal and plastic from 4" to 7" in size with moving parts.  They came
   packaged two ways.  Smaller vehicles were blister packed on header cards.
   The four heavier ones (Star Destroyer, Y-Wing, Millenium Falcon, and TIE
   Bomber) were blister packed on cards secured inside open 3" deep frame
   boxes.  The first 4 vehicles displayed Star Wars logos (Land Speeder, TIE
   Fighter, Darth Vader TIE Fighter, and X-Wing).  All others were in Empire
   packaging.

Y-Wing, pop-off wing pods, swiveling cannon, small red bomb dropped with button

Die-Cast Figures and Vehicles, Takara (Japan)
   Much more complicated than the Kenner die-cast series and tend to have
   unexpected functions.  C-3PO, for instance, shhots projectiles from his
   stomach.
