Well, my mother made the final decision. I was leaning towards "Just My Imagination" or "Fancy That." Misty's show name is now "Hidden Treasure."

Misty & The Indoor.....         For some odd reason there were groundpoles in front of the door, I guess to make a fence or something. Misty was scared of those. Then there was the indoor's wall, couldn't have that either. A mirror or two -oh no. ;-) Then a large mirror on the side -she looked at it and neighed... J She had her head up, was stiff, and I was getting nervous -"A" was where I thought "C" was going to be and I was all messed up, I got my bearings though. My instructor told me to trot but every time the darn pony neighed (a lot and loud until they moved Woody and she figured out that the mirror was her -and let me bend her away from it) she stopped trotting (eventually she kept going but slowed). The judge seemed sympathetic. She told me to make a circle by her and then start.
        The whole test Misty was shaking her head, up and down and up and down. -not attractive, I looked in the mirror as I rode to it. She was tense and I was very nervous (I never get nervous at shows so it was odd). My instructor and my mother said I rode all the figures very well, they were acurate at least. She did stretch in the free walk, but the comment said to go more forward (and that she stretched out). The judge told me to make her go more forward even if it feels too fast and try that, she said it might work and it might not. That wasn't the problem though, we were both nervous and tense and Misty'd never been in an indoor -especially not with mirrors.

My remarks were:
(enter working trot rising, develop medium walk at X continue to C) "Wandering in walk, horse tense"
(free walk) "More forward in free walk but good reach"
(Working trot down the long side A-C) "Accurate transition, allow more freedom in front"
(Circle left 20m) "Horse ducking & tight in back"
(change rein at working trot) "Allow more forward, & take bigger steps behind"
(Circle right 20m) "Circle needs more steady, horse ducking constantly" -got a 4 on that
(AKE working T, turn right at E) "needs more forward"
(turn right at B, to A) "Turn @ B better" -don't know if that means it was better, or it needs to be better
(Down centerline, halt through medium W) no comment.
"Try to let horse move a little more freely forward so she does not 'snatch' the reins. (can't read the next 2 words) also help her to relax her back."

92pts/190= 48.421% K hehe, not exactly what I was hoping for, but it was a good experience to be in the indoor and her warm up was great.

        My instructor got on her after. It took a looooooong time, but she got her really moving on the bit in the trot and bending properly. But she was riding more assertively than I usually do and it took a bit for Misty to accept her -she went on the bit a lot easier with me since she's used to me. She cantered Misty too. We were in a huge field, so she just gave her the rein, went in half seat, and let her figure it out herself, made the turns nice and smooth, with lots of straight aways. The pony looked like she was having so much fun! She was sooo relaxed! My instructor said the pony will be awesome once she's trained. She said I shouldn't sit her canter because it's like riding a 2 year old, she said when she gets on a young horse she's not going to sit on it's back! I had a big smile on my face watching her go, Misty looked so happy!
