The Earthbound Angel


God places special people on this earth of ours
And makes them to be just like you and me.
They laugh and cry, grow up among us,
But their mission is so much greater than we can see.

An earthbound angel has a special mission
That cannot be taken lightly or forgotten
God chooses only the strongest souls
To help Him watch over us, His beloved children.

This special angel is charged with caring,
For those who can no longer see the sun.
To hold out a hand to those who are falling,
For those that feel they can no longer hold on.

To make someone feel special,
When ordinary is okay
To make someone feel loved,
When a gloomy night overcomes day.

When she has born more than her share on earth,
God takes this earthbound angel away,
He gives her eternal peace, and wings to fly
So she can be with us ALL, EVERY day.
