Barbecue Style Ribs

      Ingredients:
      3 lb. pork country style
         ribs.
      1 cup chopped onion
      1 clove garlic, minced
      1 tbsp. cooking oil
      8 oz. can tomato sauce
      1/4 cup packed brown
        sugar
      3 tbsp. lemon juice
      2 tbsp. worcestershire
         sauce
      1 tbsp. prepared mustard
      1/2 tsp. celery seed
      Place ribs, bone side down on a rack in a shallow roasting pan. Bake at 350 for 1 hour. Drain.
      Meanwhile, for sauce, in a med. saucepan, cook onion and garlic in hot oil till tender. stir in tomato sauce, brown sugar, lemon juice, worcestershire sauce, mustard, celery seed, 1/2 cup water, and 1/4 tsp. pepper. Simmer for 15 min., stirring occasionally. Spoon sauce over ribs. bake ribs covered, 30-36 min. more, or till well done. Spooning sauce over ribs occasionally. Pass remaining sauce with ribs. Serves 4.
      Grill Directions:
      In a covered grill, arrange med. hot coals around a drip pan. Test for medium heat above pan. Place ribs on grill rack over drip pan but not over coals. Lower grill hood and grill for 1 hour. Prepare sauce as above. Brush ribs with sauce. Grill ribs for 30 min. more ot till well done, brushing occasionally with sauce.

      Citrus Glazed Ribs

      Cut 3 pounds pork loin back ribs into serving size pieces. Place ribs bone side down, on a rack in a shallow roasting pan. Roast at 350 for 1 hour, drain.
      Meanwhile, for glaze, combine 1/2 cup orange marmalade, 3 tbsp. soy sauce, 2 tbsp. lemon juice, and 3/4 tsp. ground ginger. Brush ribs with some of the glaze. Roast 35-45 min. more, or till well done. Brushing occasionally with glaze. Brush with any remaining glaze before serving. Serves 4.
