This
medallion was pieced using a pattern called Drunkard's Path, or Pumpkin
Vine. It contains over 400 pieces. Each square is composed of two pieces
with opposite curves. Though traditionally pieced by hand, Mary did this
on the machine. It became the center medallion in a wall hanging made for
her sister Peg.
