3/1 Mike dragged old hay out of loft, like to had heart attack worrying over Mike

2/98 timber cut--really changed our minds about where we want to fence! We have a lot more pasture land than we thought....
5/98 starting laying out fence lines, trying to set posts....ground too hard to dig. Try pounding metal T-posts...ground too hard to pound. Hm. Buy tractor with fence post auger. Ground's NOT too hard to drill! Post augers are *good things*.
6/98 loggers *finally* started cleaning up the future pasture area--unfortunately not in time for us to be able to fence it in. Guess we'll do that this fall and winter.
6/21/98 HT energized fence FINALLY up around horse pasture perimeter--just in time, 'cause the Shires came 6/20!! They are quite pleased to have the area to romp in, and we're quite pleased to see them romp.
