Master Bathroom |
The master bathroom had a nice vanity, a Jacuzzi tub - good potential. It was painted a dark green, a color that I like but which made this long, narrow room seem kind of dark and closed in. A couple of years ago I decided to paint the front part of the bathroom (around the vanity and medicine cabinet) a light seafoam or mist green. I love how it opened up the room and made it seem much lighter and more spacious. Later, I replaced a cheap looking plastic over toilet storage unit that I'd had for years with a nicer, wooden storage unit. I also replaced the switchplates with decorative southwestern looking switchplates.
I used Behr paint (color something like Seafoam Green) for the outer part of the bathroom. I did the watercolor painting myself. The over-toilet cupboard and the forest green rugs are from Target. The towels and shower curtain are from Bed Bath & Beyond.
