Master Bedroom |
After closing, before moving my furniture in, I painted the pink walls in the master bedroom white. I then used the linens and pictures I'd used in my old apartment, which I really loved. After 3 years there and 4 years here the bedspread was looking pretty bad (too many cat hairballs requiring washing). I could not find anything similar to what I had, so I went for a quite different, more vivid pattern to the bedding. The dusty rose table skirt and pillow cases/sheets, and the valances that matched the old bedspread, no longer worked. I went with burgundy for the bedding, table skirt and valance. I really like the new look, although I also liked the old.
The new bed-in-a-bag came from HomeVisions, the table skirt and sheets came from Kohls, the valances came from Wal-Mart. The lovely seascape was a Starving Artist sale find.
