The tail is slightly short on these pix because I had to trim it. Due to a little mis-hap with a red-bellied piranha. Who knew a 2" piranha would dare attack a foot long arowana?.. sh*t.. I didnt. From this day I still cant figure out what I was thinking keeping a red bellied piranha as a tankmate. I also did not know that juvenile piranhas are notorious fin nippers. I know I learned the hard way.. so the lesson for today folks: choose tankmates wisely!!

I wanted to try something different so I opened up all the windows in my room and allowed some sunlight to hit the tank. Gave my green arowana a very nice "glowing" effect:
