ROLLAGRAPH WHEEL IDEAS AND TIPS

Hello stampers:)

I have some rollagraph wheels which I never use. I need some ideas. I know I can print them across an envelope, scrapbook page, or whatever, but I know some of you who have some better ideas for these.

Thanks in advance:)

Some of the roller wheels make great backgrounds for your cards - I normally roll the wheel across a piece of card stock and trim it to layer onto another card and then mount something which suits that wheel on top of it.

I've used them across the top and bottom of cards, then colored with markers and dove blender. Remind me tomorrow and I can send you a scan of these cards. I've also seen paper bags rolled, then cut into a fan on top for a gift bag. Have fun! Amy F

The most exciting thing I have probably done is that I rolled one across shrink art and made napkin rings.
I also like to use them to make backgounds for cards.

How did you make napkin rings?

I made really small ones and haven't tried bigger ones - but these are fine for paper napkins for kids parties.
I rolled the design across the top of a 5 1/2 by 8 1/2 piece of shrink art, then cut it into strips. The narrower the strip the longer your ring will be. Then begin shrinking, while still warm fold the ends over until you've formed a loop and the ends meet. Sometimes I had to re-heat the shrink to get it completely meet.

I love to use rollergraph to do backgrounds for a card. I have the tumbling teddy roller, and use it with a larger teddy bear as the focus of the card.

I've also used the party balloon roller for the background, and written Happy Birthday across the center of the card.

I've used some in making candy bar wrappers, and writing H.B. on the front of the candy bar, for a small gift.

I've used a floral roller, rolling diagonally across the card, to make a tri-fold card. You need to roll across the front and back to get these to turn out right, but it does look really cute to see flowers zig-zagging down the card.
