Subject: Re: Stamping on clay potsYou gently and carefully rock the stamp along the curve. Maybe rock isn't the best term. You start with the stamp meeting round surface on one end of the stamp and then gently follow the curve with the stamp. Takes a bit of practice.
You can also use Fabrico Ink pads and heat set the ink. Or acrylic paints that are applied very thin will work. A clear finish spray would help protect them from the elements if kept outdoors.

I have stamped on claypots with the colorbox pigment inks. After stamping with the ink I embossed over it. It turned out quite nicely.
