Irish Welcome.

Black and White Chart.

This is my free design for St Patrick's Day this year (that would be 2000)!  Caed Mile Failte means "A hundred thousand welcomes" in Gaelic.  This wish is surrounded with a celtic knot border with four shamrocks stitched in Double Leviathon stitch and a diagram of the stitch can be found at Johanna's.

I haven't had a chance to stitch this myself, but will in the next little while.  When I do I'll post a photo to the album.  If anyone gets to do it before me, please share the photos!  This design will fit well into a 5x7 frame when stitched on 14/28 count fabric.

This chart was designed using PCStitch 5.0.  If you have this program you can email me for the .pat file.  You can also download a free viewer for this chart at

PRINTING HINTS AND HELP.

To print out this chart, I have found that this helps, otherwise the top of the chart will be cut off.  I can't make the chart smaller as it ruins the clarity to the point it can't be read.

Make sure you closr the Pop Up Ad box.  After a while it closes itself.

When you are on the chart page, click on File.
Click Page Set Up.
Set all page margins to 0.  Some may automatically adjust to 0.01..  That's OK.  Make sure the paper is printing on Portrait.
Click Ok.

Click on File again and click Print.

Another way to do it is to Click on File, Page Set Up, then Properties and continue on setting your margins.

After doing this my computer automatically reset itself.

Any questions email me, and if you would like the file for PCStitch or the viewer I can send that to you also.
