Band one is stitched with cross stitches. March is backstitched with White, although feel free to change the font, etc., if you wish. The "gold" can either be stitched with floss, gold beads or french knots.
Band two is stitched with cross stitches. March is again stitched in White and the hair is backstitched with DMC 351 Coral. Backstitch in the eye is White.
Band three is the specialty band. First is the four sided stitch done with DMC 700, Christmas Green. Second is the eyelet stitch in Ecru. Then shamrocks in DMC 700 with the word March backstitched in DMC 704, Bright Chartreuse. Next is a simple running stitch (two stitches, two spaces, two stitches) in Ecru again, followed by the four sided stitch again in DMC 700. For embellishment you could add beads in the center of the four sided stitch or beads in the center of the eyelet stitch, or both!
The main thing is to enjoy stitching the bands and have fun!
