On a neutral color of Aida or linen, center and stitch the design as charted.
On the first band only cross, back, and long stitches are used. If you want, you could add one or two small gold-tone charms, such as a seashell, crab, etc. near the "sandcastles". Backstitch shells in DMC 223, starshells in DMC 437, sun castles in DMC 435.
On the second band, the bears are done with full and partial cross stitches, back and long stitches, and French knots. The pink accents are large Algerian eye stitches. Back stitch around bears, and letter in DMC 310. All french knots are in DMC 310, except for the panda's eyes which are white french knots.
