The Wind Chill

Have you ever wondered how the wind chill factor is determined?  It's as simple as this:  Multiply 3.71 times the square root of the wind speed in miles per hour.  Add 5.81 to that, and then subtract 1/4 the wind speed.  Multiply that answer by 0.0817.  Call that answer A.  Subtract 91.4 from the temperature in Fahrenheit.  Multiply that answer times A.  Now add 91.4 to that answer for the wind-chill temperature.  Got that?  (There will be a test tomorrow. )
