The Wind Chill
Have you ever wondered how the
wind chill factor is determined? It's as simple as this:
Multiply 3.71 times the square root of the wind speed in miles per hour.
Add 5.81 to that, and then subtract 1/4 the wind speed. Multiply
that answer by 0.0817. Call that answer A. Subtract 91.4 from
the temperature in Fahrenheit. Multiply that answer times A.
Now add 91.4 to that answer for the wind-chill temperature. Got that?
