I grew up in Vermillion County Indiana. The next county over is Parke County. Parke County is the covered bridge capitol of the world. Here is a collection of pictures that I have taken of some of them.

Here are two pictures of a bridge is just outside my hometown of Newport, Indiana. I spent many days playing around this bridge, riding my bicycle and walking through it.

The bridge on the left is on the west side of Rockville, Indiana. (Parke County)

This one is another one on the west side of Rockville.

This bridge is at Mansfield. There is an old mill there that still works. If you have never been to Parke County.....it is a trip well worth your time. It is so lovely there, especially in the fall. They have the Covered Bridge Festival there each fall during the month of October. It is held in Rockville, Indiana.

This picture was taken from the creek bed. I'm not sure which bridge this is, but as the others, it is so pretty.

As we were taking this picture, horseback riders were enjoying a ride in the country.

This is the Rush Creek bridge. Isn't the countryside just beautiful?

Now I'm not sure what bridge this is either, but look at the winding road going up through the bridge. Awesome isn't it?

Another one taken from the creek bed. Most of these bridges are close to Turkey Run State Park. Sugar Creek runs through the park, winding around and through cliffs.
