My name is Ralph and I currently live in Melbourne, Australia. It was in 1987 that I first decided to collect Coke cans after the release of two competition Coke cans and an America's Cup Coke can. These are the first 4 Coca-Cola cans that started my collection.

At that time, I was already collecting beer cans since 1984. Over the years my collection of Coke cans grew. I also started to collect other softdrink cans from 1989 onwards. Eventually, other committments and studying part-time for two years left me with very little time and I stopped collecting for a number of years between 1994 and 1997.

Well, in the beginning 1998, having some more time, I started collecting softdrink cans again but not beer cans.

I now collect all types of softdrink cans and currently have over 3700 cans. A large portion of my collection consists of Coca-Cola cans and Australian softdrink cans, followed by other major brands and Asian softdrink cans. All of my cans are empty, some are top opened and others are bottom opened. Due to lack of space, I now keep the majority of cans in boxes and have the rest displayed on can shelves (about 400 cans).
