Daisy was the daughter of
Adolphus Millard Brown (1866-1946) and Sarah Manuel Brown (1870-1961) of Rich Mountain, NC.
Daisy married Hubert Hardy, son of
Andrew Jackson Hardy and Victoria Whittaker Hardy
Daisy lived most of her life in Boone,
working at what was then Appalachian State Teachers' College
and is buried in Mount Lawn Cemetery.
