THE G-D OF ISRAEL IS ALTOGETHER HOLY AND RIGHTEOUS IN ALL HIS WORKS AND WAYS
Justice and Judgment are the Habitation of Thy Throne: Mercy and Truth shall go before Thy Face. Psalm 89:14
He is altogether Righteous and Blameless in All His Doings. He cannot sin. His Ways are Justice and Judgment. None can accuse G-d of unrighteousness, for He cannot be unrighteous.
He is also Sovereign. Nothing happens without His Permission, and there is no sin found in Him. Matthew 28:18
Believers can Rest Assured that He is not the author of sin. Indeed, it is impossible for G-d to sin. possum non pecare, pecare non possum. It is possible for G-d not to sin, and not possible for G-d to sin.
IN HIS OWN POWER, FALLEN MAN CANNOT BE RIGHTEOUS BEFORE HIM
For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not. Ecclesiates 7:20
To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. The fool hath said in his heart, There is no G-d. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. Psalm 14:1
AND YET, WAS ANYONE EVER CALLED "JUST" BY G-D?
These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a Just man and Perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with G-d. Bereshith (Genesis) 6:9
And Delivered Just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked: II Peter 2:7
DID JESUS SAY THERE WERE JUST MEN IN THE EARTH?
That ye may be the children of your Father which is in Heaven: for He maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the Good, and sendeth rain on the Just and on the unjust. Matthew 5:45
HOW CAN MAN EVER BE JUST WITH G-D?
I know it is so of a truth: but how should man be just with G-d? Job 9:2
THROUGH FAITH ALONE IN YESHUA (JESUS) THE MESSIAH
Now the Just shall live by Faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. Hebrews 10:38
Through Faith Alone in Jesus Christ only are we Made Righteous before Him. We are Justified, or Made Just in His Sight through our Faith.
The verse also says that if anyone should not agree, and does "draw back" from being Just by his Faith, there shall be "no pleasure in him".
We are Justified; Made Righteous, by Faith Alone.
SOME SAY WE ALWAYS REMAIN SINNERS AS BEFORE
While there will not be "sinless perfection" all our days on earth after we are Saved, yet we do not remain "category sinners" as we were before. We are Righteous (Justified) in G-ds' Sight by our Faith. We are Sanctified by Faith Alone also, and our Sanctification is a matter of growth.
WHAT ABOUT THOSE WHO TRUST IN THEIR OWN WORKS-RIGHTEOUSNESS?
When I shall say to the Righteous, that he shall surely live; if he trust to his own righteousness, and commit iniquity, all his righteousnesses shall not be remembered; but for his iniquity that he hath committed, he shall die for it. Ezekiel 33:13
There is Spiritual death for he has committed iniquity in trusting in his own righteousness.
There is only Righteousness in Him, through our Faith.
IS JUSTICE AND JUDGMENT TO BE DONE?
To do Justice and Judgment is more Acceptable to the L-RD than sacrifice. Proverbs 21:3
HIS LAW IS JUSTICE AND JUDGMENT AND IT IS NOW WRITTEN ON OUR HEARTS
For this is the Covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, Saith the L-rd; I Will put My laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to Me a people: Hebrews 8:10; cf. 10:16, Jeremiah 31:31 ff.
To the General Assembly and Church of the firstborn, which are written in Heaven, and to G-d the Judge of all, and to the spirits of Just men made Perfect, Hebrews 12:23
THERE IS VICTORY BY FAITH IN BEING JUST
The righteous shall be glad in the L-RD, and shall trust in Him; and all the upright in heart shall glory. Psalm 64:10
ALL THE UNJUST SHALL BE PUNISHED
All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; but the horns of the Righteous shall be exalted. Psalm 75:10
The unjust shall remain in darkness, and those who have "drawn back" shall not see G-ds' Fullest Blessings.
THERE ARE SURE BLESSINGS TO THE JUST
Say ye to the Righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings. Isaiah 3:10
Thy people also shall be all Righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the Branch of My Planting, the Work of My Hands, that I may be Glorified. Isaiah 60:21
Being Justified by Faith means that when we Walk in that Faith, we are Made Righteous by Faith. This is why the Elect are called "Righteous"; because we have Received the Gift of Faith to so Walk therein.
