Chuck Smith Founded Calvary Chapel in the 1960's in Costa Mesa California. He now has huge worship centres throughout the United States. He teaches Premillennial Dispensationalism ala Darby and Scofield.
FALSE PROGNOSTICATOR
In his book Future Survival he wrote:
"From my understanding of biblical prophesies, I'm convinced that the Lord is coming for His Church before the end of 1981."
He wrote that in 1978 to his wide-eyed followers. Many joined his church at that time, believing his words. He has made a lot of money off his "prophetic" announcements. He also teaches there are many "prophets" today. None of his "prophets" associated with his churches or any other "prophet" in the world that ever read his book ever stepped forward and "corrected" him in 1978, or 1979, 1980 or in 1981.
Needless to say. 1981 came and went and Chuck Smith is another false prognosticator.
