We all love pets, or you wouldn't be here. We all look at special interest pages, and read the tragic stories, but when we're done we're left feeling like there really isn't anything we can do to help. I have compiled a few simple things that we all can do to help the welfare of animals who need the help!
H4HA has a program called "The Snuggles Project". If you know how to knit or crochet, or even quilt you
can help. What they do is encourage people to make one foot square blankets and donate them to local animal shelters, and if you don't have a local animal shelter, they have an address for you to send them to. These blankets give lonely and scared animals a security blanket. Something to cuddle with, in a place that doesn't have much to offer.
Sponsor A Cat
Sponsor a cat at Hermitage, Arizona's only no-kill animal shelter. $240.00 a year ($20.00 a month) helps a needy cat. You will recieve photo, certificate and news about your cat.
On every can or bag of Punce brand cat treats is a UPC label that is worth money to your local animal shelter. Every cat loves treats, and Pounce offers many flavors, including the crunchy variety that is good for your cats teeth.
