(Updated February 27, 1999)

Here are some I interesting sites that I have come across so far:

General Sites:

Conway Scenic Railroad - where you can get a ride on parts of the railroads!
Mountain Division Alliance
- an interesting website regarding the future use of the Mountain Division between Portland and Freyburg Maine.
Rumors and Sightings on the Springfield Terminal Railroad
- Was once rather progressive online newsletter that was updated frquently regarding the former B&M, MEC and other New England Railroads. It seems to have trickled off as of March 20, 1997 but the site is still there. I'm a bit puzzled as to why.
Guilford Transportation
- The current owner of the Maine Central Railroad in Maine (The Mountain Division has been abandoned and sold to the state of New Hampshire).
Cam's Maine Central Page
- Many interesting pictures and some other information.
Railroad Stations in New Hampshire
- an excellent collection of station information through-out New Hampshire including some (but not all) on the MEC and the B&M.

flyingyankee.com - an interesting website regarding the restoration of the historic streamline train, the so called "Flying Yankee."

Pictures:

More of Ken Houghton's Rail Images - Several Pictures of MEC and B&M Locomotives including one of the last passenger train to run through through the notch until the Conway Scenic resumed operations.
Maine Rail Photos
- A good collection of photos on railroading in and around Maine. Several of the MEC.
B&M
- A collection of photos from the former B&M and Guilford Rail systems.

Other related sites:

Railserve - a great search engine in addition to a bulletin board for railroad data.
Railroad-junction
- an other search engine and bulliten board.

Other less related site: Geocities - my host.
More to be added soon.

Any additional suggestions, comments or corrections may be sent to James Larson at mljl@neca.com.
