Found your site through a referende from Bob Tindall, a cousin. I think my family is a direct decendant of Johan Willem Snook who was naturalized in 1730 coming to NJ from Germany via the Netherlands.

What do you know of your Windon's? My great-grandmother Fanny or Fannie Windon married Abraham Cooperman (b. 1858) in New York (City or state - I don't know) I believe both were immigrants from Austria. I am sure that Abraham Cooperman was from Vienna Austria and emmigrated in 1882. He was a tailor. They lived in New York until 1888 and then moved to Leadville, Colorado. While in New York they had two sons. After they moved to Leadville they had a few more children. Any help appreciated. Raymond Coon

I love your sight, very well done. I'll be back again to explore further. I'm currently researching my g-grandfather, William Henry Snook married to Martha Estell Vinton in Madras Oregon (pre 1899). He died in about 1953 and was around 90 years old. H was a medical doctor and maintained a practice in Madras. I don't know much more about him other than he may have come from Iowa and may have had a previous marrage. Would appreciate any info you might have and if we can find a link I can add to what y u have on the Snooks. I'm in the process of getting the generations from William forward documented and into family tree maker.
