Materials:( Makes set of 4)

1-50 gram ball worsted weight cotton in red.
small amount of worsted weight cotton in green.
tapestry needle (for sewing)
hook: Size 4mm

Apple:
Rnd 1:Ch 4. Sl st in first ch to form ring.
Rnd 2:Ch 2 (counts as hdc), work 11 more hdc in ring.Join with sl st in first st.
Rnd 3:Ch 2, hdc in same st as joining; 2 hdc in each of remaining sts. around. Join with sl st to first st. (24 hdc).
Rnd 4:Ch 2, hdc in same st as joining, hdc in next st; *(2 hdc in next st, hdc in next st) repeat from * around. Join with sl st in first st. (36 hdc)
Rnd 5:ch 1. Work sc in first st, work hdc in next 2 sts.
work hdc in next st and 2 hdc in following st. Work sc in
next 10 sts. Work 3 tr in next st. Work sc in next 3 sts.
Work 3 tr in next st. Work sc in next 10 sts.
Work 2 hdc in next st. Work hdc in next st. Work 2 hdc in next st,
work hdc in next 2 sts, work sc in next st. Join with sl st to
first sc and finish off.

Leaf:
Ch 8.
Rnd 1:work sc in second ch from hook. work hdc in next ch.
Work dc in next 3 sts.Work hdc in next st. Work 3 hdc in last st.
Working on other side of starting chain work hdc in next st, work
dc in next 3 sts,work hdc in last st. Join with sl st to first sc.

Finish off.

Attach to apple between scs at top of apple.
