The coldness started to surround me, the icy water engulfing me. I wanted to breath, I need to breath, though all that I swallowed was water, no air. I started to choke as water filled my lungs, my being. I could feel as the wrmth started to seep out of me and my throat tightened in feat as I saw flashes of events pass through my mind as if on fastforward.
My fingers grasped at my throat, the nails digging at my flesh, scratching at my skin, as if that would allow air to pass through my lungs once more. I felt the warmth of blood on my fingers ... my own blood on my hands. While my hands got warm, my throat grew colder as the blood started to seep out of me, to forever stain the water a crimson red.
Then all I could see was darkness; it was all I could feel. I knew I started to slip away, my sould breaking apart from my body; my mind away from them. I started to succumb to the water, to the dark, and I started to drift into an eternal sleep as coldness enveloped me.
