these are shots from the original design for the cover and booklet for "deep", the 1998
cd from my friend ron brunk. (For more information and sound samples click here.) It was my first major design project, and the launch of my one-man graphics company, Accidental Art (later renamed Babaziba Artworks).
all shots are from photographs i took of him at his home (and in his bathtub) in late May of '98.
(I also sing backups on the album. Can you dig it?) Babaziba Artworks also photographed and designed his
next packages for 2000's CD Eclectricity and the newest release, Third Coast Blue.

entire backside housed the CD's lyrics. worked
out a little differently, but all shots
except the bottom left were used, with a black-and-white
shot added in its place and the top shot
converted to black-and-white for the tray insert.
