Here is an example of how to use Background in your page.
The HTML code is:

<BODY BACKGROUND="name.jpg">   ( you can copy it )

Enter your background file name instead of the "name.jpg"
and Voila! You have a page with a background.

For instanse I have prepared an example for you in it I have used the "lizardsbg.jpg"
It look like this:
Background

While you at it you my want to add the TEXT color, VILINK color and ALINK color.
So here is the complete code for that:
<BODY BACKGROUND="name.jpg" TEXT="#000000" LINK="#0000FF" VLINK="#FF000" ALINK="#663399">
Below is a default color for Links in a web page. the same default that browsers use.
It looks like this:

#000000 #0000FF #FF000F #663399

Change "color" with hex e.g.,"#CFFFFF" for the color of this page back ground
or to another color to your heart content. But, keep in maid that
surfers are used to the default color.
You can also use "name color" e.g., COLOR="White" or COLOR="Black".

Tip:
Some times it take a while for the page to load the background,
Meanwhile what you usually see is the default background of the browser most
of the time gray BGCOLOR="#C0C0C0".
You can control that by assigning BGCLOR of your own by adding
a BGCOLOR ether white or another color. It is common use to add
a color that is in the BACKGROUND image, so coming background
wont be totally different. Unless of curse you want that affect.

I have used BGCOLOR="#663399" in the above example.
