Many paths have I travelled
and pains have endured
But none compare with
the absence of your smile.
Having felt you in my arms
I long for your embrace again
Like a babies blanket, soft and warm
An impenatrable shield against loneliness.
The mere thought of you sends
bolts of electricity through my body
where every nerve erupts with
uncontrollable desire and want of you.
I have gazed into those eyes, pools of desire
that reflect an inner beauty rare
A window to your soul that shines
With the softness of the moon.
Even when apart, we are as one,
for you are never far from my thoughts
held precious in my dreams
and always craddled in my heart.
If passion were a flame
and love precious gems
I would be ablaze with desire
and never know want.
