If Only, For a Moment
If only for a moment, I could touch,
As I've been touched by you,
In ways that the body can not understand,
Not of lust nor even passion, do I crave to hold you near.
If only for a moment, I could feel you're warmth,
Like a mid summers day, upon sun baked sands.
Your embrace, lifting me high on dew laced clouds,
Where upon I drift for hours, In the comfort of your arms.
If only for a moment, I could gaze into your eyes,
where I could lose myself, in the depths of your soul.
Tasting the sweetness of your lips, would quench my thirst,
like the waters from a cool mountain stream,
If only for a moment, you could feel my passion,
You would know the burning of a newly formed star,
A super nova, illuminating the darkness of space,
and radiating life giving warmth to an otherwise barren soul
If only for a moment, you could feel the joy,
Swelling up in side of me,
Then you would know.......... and feel, the depth of my love.
.................If only for a moment.
