The Family
This family portrait was taken shortly after my father returned from the Yukon. Take note of the jacket my father was wearing. Years later, dad gave it to me and with a bit of improvisation, I turned it into a rather smart looking double breasted sports jacket. By now we had purchased our own home, a two story semi. The back yard was turned into a garden, sparing me from having to cut the grass. Listen, I didn't get off that easily, who do you think had to weed and water it?:))))). I must admit though, the effort was well worth it because we grew some of the largest, sweetest tomotes I have ever tasted. Not only that but during late summer, I went around the neighbourhood selling vegetables, yet another way we made money back then.
