Alberta-1957

This was a pic of me handing mom some wild flowers I yanked from the surrounding area when we first arrived in Alberta. As you can see by the top
I wore, clothes were not a high priority when it came to fashion sense. If I
didn't know better, it almost looks like one of moms old blouses. I shouldn't
complain, at least I had clothes on my back and a mother who showed incredible
fortitude and love for her son and family.
Yup, thats me and my mom with the beautiful Rocky Mountains in the
background. As you can see, this was after my accident and I still wore a
bandage on my arm. Although the mountains look close it was at least a good
days drive to get to the foothills, especially if you drove an old clunker like
the one we're standing beside. Its top speed was probably 50 miles and hour
going down hill.
