Yukon-1957

This was my dad when he was up in the Yukon. From all accounts he enjoyed the wild open frontier flavor of the north. As you can see the mountains in the background were quite spectacular and he often spoke of how beautiful it was. According to him the land was unbelievably rich in all kinds of minerals, including gold, the only problem was getting the stuff out. I'm sure it was a nature lovers paradise, with wildlife and fishing to appease all levels. Some day, I'd love to go up there for a look see. I myself am an advid fisherman and if the stories of the size and plenitude of fish stocks are even half true, then I'd be in for the treat of my life. (Smiling)... Damn....he looks a lot like me:)
