A Second Life for Abused Norns
"Project A.S.L.A.N"
The egg cracked, and with a final noise, out popped a tiny female Norn with a white tuft of hair and a wide smile. The Hand named her Alison, and then taught her how to speak. Once she knew all of the words, she began to speak cheerily, smiling widely and chatting without a care in the world. But before she could even say another word, The Hand began to slap her mercilessly, not heeding her cries…again and again It struck, relentlessly, until Alison moaned and curled up, near death. But The Hand didn’t care – it was only a Norn. A stupid, dumb, fake Norn…
This could be happening to some poor, innocent Norn right now. And it probably is – somewhere, at this very moment, there is probably somebody sick enough to take out his or her aggressions on a poor, defenseless Norn who can do nothing to defend itself. You may think, so what, the Norns aren’t alive, so who cares if they die? Well, alive or not, Norns do not deserve this abuse. (Besides, this abuse may lead to more harsh crimes, such as animal or even human abuse – eliminating the problem could prevent more serious incidents.)
Creatures (and Creatures 2) were not created for those sick personalities out there to use as a way to be evil – but unfortunately it has been used in this way, and it needs to stop. What these people are doing is sick – and those people who put up websites dedicated to the abuse and torture of Norns are the ones that need to be stopped. Unfortunately, despite many efforts, there are still many of these websites online. So perhaps they cannot be stopped, but the tortured Norns can be helped. How? Through A Second Life for Abused Norns, or Project A.S.L.A.N, a new program that I am working on that is dedicated to giving a second chance to those abused Norns on the cruelty websites. This program will allow its members to receive abused Norns that I find on the Net and give them a new home. Stories about these Norns will be posted as they recover and begin their new lives, and this way we will be taking a stand against those cruelty-towards-Norns websites without actively trying to eliminate them. Links to cruelty websites will be posted as well, so that non-members can go to the pages themselves. And finally, a newsletter will be sent out as often as possible, filled with the latest news from our project as well as the latest information from ERFN, Equal Rights for Norns, of which I am a member.
And so if you are a Norn Lover, or if you just think that what these people are doing to their Norns is wrong, please support Project A.S.L.A.N, A Second Life for Abused Norns. If you would be interested in joining the Project, please report to the
Roster Room immediately, so we can give as many Norns as possible a second chance at life....Thank you,
Starry
