Welcome to
'Inspirational Women of the Month'
Each month we will be featuring
women from
around the World whom we feel deserve this
special title. This month Sister
Sopatient writes
about Cricket.

This month I
have picked one of our soon to be Young Sisters
to recieve our award. Cricket, to be known as Sister
Moonbeam.
Cricket is eleven (11) years old, in fact today is her
birthday, December 1. She has a brother, BooBoo, who is
four (4), they are the children of our own Sister Penguin
Angel. Cricket is in the fifth (5) grade in school.
Recently Cricket interviewed a sports celebrity for her
school newspaper, and it was a very impressive article.
I asked Cricket about her writing skills; she told me
that they started in kindergarten when as a class project
they started keeping journals. She confessed that her's
was "alot of drawings".
Her serious writing began in the second grade. Cricket
feels that her writing style developed over time by just
keeping at it. She told me, "I have always liked to
write stories and I have kept journals since
kindergarten".
Cricket is planning on finishing her education and hopes
to become either a judge or a professional writer. I feel
after reading her interview, that she will obtain both
these goals. In a few years, we will be able to go to our
local bookstores and purchase a copy of the latest novel
by Judge Cricket.

This award was given to me from the This'N'That News Letter, the monthly newsletter of NetSisters! I am honored to have receieved this.
