Our first glimpse of a senshi from the Outer realm, is the brief appearance of SailorPluto near the end of the Romance season, where she helps Chibi-usa in her dream menace battles against Wiseman and the rest of the Blackmoon family. But we hear her voice in earlier episodes when Chibi-usa speaks to her only friend in the past, her Luna-P. SailorPluto is most probably one of the most mysterious characters, ever to appear on Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon. Her calm attitude, and mature look makes one want to know more about this tall, tanned beauty. She is introduced in the Super season as Meioh Setsuna, her civilian form. Setsuna, a friend of Chibi-usa is found out to be an important senshi, the guardian of all time, a powerful senshi, who leads a lonely life watching the gates far away from earth. In the Super series, her mission, along with two other Outer senshi, Neptune and Uranus is to find the 3 talismans, found in people of pure hearts. The three senshi go about their ways, separate from the Inner senshi, doing whatever they can do to find these three talisman. The Outer senshi go about finding the talismans in a way not familiar with the other senshi, since the fate of the world is in the hands of whoever get the Holy Grail, the chalice that is revealed with the power of the talismans. Later in the series, Pluto is revealed to hold one of the talismans, the garnet orb, which is situated on the end of her time staff. In the last season, SailorStars, Pluto, along with the other Outer Senshi are powered up with the help of baby Hotaru.

A great part that deals with Pluto's mystery is the fact that she is rarely seen in the anime. But when she is seen, you can be sure that something bad is about to happen. She is a powerful senshi, an asset to the sailor team. Her powers are always helpful to the other senshi in their time of need. Although I'm not a Pluto fanatic, I do think she's one of the very cool senshi. Her words are always very soft spoken, and she has an aura of maturity that surrounds her. Her attack, Dead Scream is one of my favourites, the way she throws the energy ball at the enemy is simpley wonderful. Maybe the best part of this attack is the irony involved, when she whispers the words "Dead Scream". Pluto may not be seen much in the anime, but for me, that's what makes her so mysterious. Her absence from the gang is greatly missed by fans, but it is a part of what makes them love her so much. Pluto is definitely a character who has her share of fans, and by just watching her on your television screen, you're sure to see why
