The soldier of the deep waters, who carries the protection of the planet of the sea, Neptune! SailorNeptune, the most elegant of all the planetary senshi, is also among the many characters of Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon who lead a great band of followers. In her civilian form, she can be mocking, she is an excellent swimmer and violinist, but as SailorNeptune, her first priority is to find the talismans, found in people of pure heart (Super). Her main mission is to protect the princess of the white moon, who is revealed to be Usagi in the first season. Michiru is one of my favourite characters in the series. She's beautiful, and most compare her to Mercury, but those who do know that Neptune is far more superior in strength, smarts, and power. Neptune at first isn't known to be on the other senshi's side because of her and her partner, Uranus' strange way of fighting. When they are both introduced in the third season, Super, they only care to find the talismans, and will use, and kill anyone who gets in their way. Later it is found that Neptune is a holder of one of the three talismans, hers being the Aqua Mirror, allowing her to see the truth in her enemies, helping the senshi in their future fights. Neptune, being part of the Outer senshi, is of course very mature, and is older than the inner senshi. Her maturity is common, and her other side, her mocking behavior is not uncommon either. This is only part of her character that makes her so interesting and loveable.

Harauka's first appearance is in the third season, along with her partner, Miciru. As SailorUranus she can be ruthless, agressive, and is out to get what she wants, no matter who she may hurt. But as Haruka she is athletic, and like Michiru, can be mocking at times. In the beginning, the other senshi don't realize that she is in fact a woman! Haruka uses this ignorance on Usagi's part to her advantage, teasing her, telling her how attracted to her she is. Its no doubt that both Haruka and her partner add comdedy to the show. As a senshi, SailorUranus is a team player. Her quick movements, awesome attacks and fast reflexes work in conjunction with the rest of the Sailor Team. At first, as I said before, the other senshi thought that Haruka was a man, and there really isn't any blaming them since Haruka is very masculine. Even her voice is a deep, manly one. She often teases Usagi about this. As SailorUranus, she does what she can to complete the mission. Even when her heart says no, she lets the youma take away Usagi's heart crystal, just to see if it had the shine of a talisman. Uranus' ways of accomplishing her mission is not the way for many of the senshi, but her loyalty and love for the queen and princess is something that can never be underestimated
