Crystal took a horseback ride out to the 4 Peaks, east of the Phoenix valley. This shot shows the desert at its best. Oh, Crystal said, "No more horses!"
While out in the desert, Crystal met some new friends. From left to right, these are: Flutter, the hummingbird; Scar, the cardinal; George, the coyote, and Mama Louise, the Gambrel quail.
Finally! Crystal has found something that suits her to a t. She loves the night life of downtown Phoenix. She has gone to the ballet at the Herberger theater, to the Phoenix Symphony at Civic Plaza, and, her favorite, dancing all night at the Compass! You can see the round part of the Compass on top of the hotel to the left of the photograph. It turns all the way around in an hour, and you see the city from every angle!
