The Struggle Chapter 1 Life as a UltraMorph is Bizarre. Everything is strange and unknowing. Every day is another battle, the continuation of a great fight. How can just 12 kids win against the Yeerks?? That・s basically all we are. Oh sure, 2 are Andalites, 2 are half Andalites, and one is an Ellimist child. But it never seems to make a difference. We always win a few fights with the Yeerks but they recover quickly. Too quickly. Brittany and Austin are in there to fight. Brittany once thought it wasn・t worth it, but now she・s back and stronger that ever. Sara, well she・s an Andalite and fighting comes basically natural to her. Becka, I think the only reason she・s in there is because I am. Justin, he likes it because he hangs around people that listen to his jokes. We are splitting up fast though. All these petty attacks are leading us nowhere. I have no more will or reason to fight. But we have to fight the Yeerks to save our planet. It・s our duity, our job, and our responisibility. Most of you don・t have to, cause you weren・t given the power to morph. A power, our power, to save the planet. The power was given to use to fight them with, and we will use that power just for that perpous. Fight them we will, strive to servive we will, and stuggle for freedom we will.
My name is Zac. I lead the UltraMorphs. Our team fights beside the Animorphs. We are struggling as best as we possibly can. You know the basic, beginning-of-book-story. I can・t tell you my last name, so on and so forth. The Chee are also our Allies. Stong, wise, mechanical Androids. But along with this, they are programed not to be violent. They don・t kill, not even if they want to. We can・t ask our parents for help, they could be one of them and whouldn・t believe us We had a meeting at Cassie・s Barn. Every week the UltraMorphs meet at either my house or the barn the Sara sleeps in at Austin・s house. Every two weeks, both the Animorphs and the UltraMorphs meet at Cassie・s Vet Barn. "So, what new news do we have??" Marco asked Jake at our meeting. It was the last week of school and the weather was already to hot. "What kind of news??" Jake asked worn out. "Any kind!! Come on, I・m bored!! Where is Xena・s sprit and Patton・s Orders? Where is Tree Hugger・s helpful animal hint of the day?? Where is--" Marco got cut off. "Could you please shut up. As soon as the UltraMorphs get here we can start the meeting." Rachel said frustrated. At that point, I knocked on the barn door to symbolize that we had heard everything. Becka, Austin, Justin, and Sara were all there with me getting ready to enter the barn. "Hi, everyone come in." Cassie said in her usual happy mood. "Where is Brittany??" Cassie asked. after none of us answered her happy greeting. "Well, she said she had something to tell us, and that she would be a little late." Austin said. Everyone took a seat on a table, a wooden barrel, or a bale of hay. "Well, hopefully she・ll be here soon." Becka said. "Let・s get this over with so I can go back to training. If I train hard enough I can beat Brittany Royal--" "My Royal what??" Brittany asked from the barn door. It was nice to see Brittany. Brittany is a very pretty girl. When comparing the Animorph and UltraMorph girls, Becka is Rachel only she goes over the limit of being Preppy. Brittany loves animals as much as Cassie, has Rachel・s strive and go, and both Cassie・s and Rachel・s beuity combined. But she lacks some certain essence of Preppy Snobness that Rachel contains in some areas. Brittany has lovely light brown hair, sparkling blue eyes, a lovely soft face, and a wonderful personality. But she also has a real bad attitude. It・s made up for by her love of animals and their rights. "Have you missed me??" she asked Becka sarcastically. "Oh yes, I・ve just been dying to see you." Becka said. "Well, since I・ve made so big of improvements on my training, you just might get that chance." Brittany said to her. Becka has a problem trying to conceal her feelings. Especially her fear of things. Becka・s lips began to tremble and I know why. Last time that Becka tried to fight Brittany, Becka was really hurt badly. We had to bring Becka to Cassie just so Becka could get bandaged. I・ve sneeked up on Brittany to watch her train a few times. You wouldn・t believe how powerful she is unless she told you herself. "Okay, what did you want to show us Brittany??" Tobias asked changing the subject. Tobias was in human morph at this time. "Not really a something, more like a someone. His name is Brian. He・s the Prince of one of the other Ellimist planets that were destroyed before mine. His parents had sent him to my planet, and then he was sent to Earth with me." Brittany explained, still not showing us Brian. "You brought a guy here!! How much have you told him!" Rachel asked standing up. "Nothing, he only knows what he・s seen. He knows who we are. His "brother" is a Chee and he is living with him. His brother takes him into the Yeerk Pools, some of those times when we were making our attacks." Brittany said. "Where is he??" Justin asked. No one said anything more as Brian walked in the door. He looked at least two years older than Brittany. He had short brown hair that lay naturally on his head in short little waves. His clothing was up to date and styling. His eyes were blue like Brittany・s. He was definitely in shape and very fit. His height was very tall and weight about average. There was a brief silence as his shadow covered the room. "Ummm, welcome to the club?" Justin said sticking out a hand. "Cut the crap doofuss." Austin said hitting Justin in the back of the head. "Crap, crap, crap, and crap. Now it・s cut into four equal parts. Is it cut enough? Marco asked sarcastically. "Shut up you idiots!" Austin said hitting both Justin and Marco in the back of the head. "The three stooges. Justin, Austin, and Marco." Brittany said pointing in their direction. "How do we know if he is a controller or not??" Jake asked, eyeing Brian. "Because why would a controller save an ．Andalite Bandit・ and not turn them in??" Brittany said plainly. "Would his brother happen to be Erek??" Austin asked. "No, Erek only lives with a Chee acting as his father." Rachel said. "Do you have the power to morph??" Sara asked. "No, but Brittany has demonstrated her power to morph to me." Brian said. "Well, he looks safe enough to me." Becka said pushing through the crowd. "Hi, my name is Becka." Becka said giving her hand to Brian and batting her eyelashes. I immediately got jealous and pulled her towards me. "Hi, I・m Zac. The leader of the UltraMorphs and Becka・s boyfriend." I said to Brian to inform him that Becka was taken. But I think that if he really wanted to fight for Becka, he would win hands down with me in the ER stat. "I am Sares-Esgoth-Ishtill from the Andalite Homeworld. I am now serving my friends and their Princess Brittany. Also their leader Prince Zac. "Don・t call me Prince. Brittany and I aren・t royalty." I said to Sara. "Actually, I am. I am the Princess of all living Ellimists in this side of the Nexus." Brittany said as everyone・s jaw dropped and everyone went silent. "I collect cans of silly string. I now have over 50 cans with 30 different colors." Justin said trying to match up with Brittany. "My name is Axmill-Esgarrouth-Isthill, also from the Andalite Homeworld. I am now serving my friends and their leader, Prince Jake." Ax said bowing. "Don・t call me Prince, Ax." Jake said for the millionth time. "I am what is know as a nothlit. I am a person that has stayed in hawk form to long. I am mostly hawk now. But appear to people as human when I・m in this form. I am Tobias. Half Andalite and twice as deadly." Tobias said to Brian. "I am Jake, leader of the Animorphs. Cassie・s boyfriend." Jake said throwing an arm around Cassie while she blushed. "I・m Cassie. This is my parent・s barn." Cassie said to Brian. "I・m Rachel. Cassie and Brittany are my best friends. Tobias is my boyfriend." Rachel said to Brian. "Hi, I・m Marco. The awesomely handsome and smart guy. My girlfriend just happens to be out of town." Marco said rolling his eyes. Poor Marco without a girlfriend. "I am another one of Brittany・s best friends. I just happen to be the best friend that happens to be male. I・m Austin." he said to Brian. "I・m Justin. My ego is my hobby." Justin said to Brian. Chapter 3 And so like that, Brian was excepted in the group. We had to re-arrange the attack groups. There was Jake, Cassie, Rachel, and Tobias in A group. Marco, Brittany, Justin, and Ax in B group. Becka, Me, Austin, and Sara in C group. Brian, Erek, and Brian・s brother James were in D group. I think James is the only Chee I・ve ever saw that will physically fight the Yeerks. Somehow he found the Permilite Cystal were we had hid it. James reprogramed himself, and then dropped the Crystal back in the place we had it. The day before we all left for our Yeerk attack, we gave Brian the power to morph. So that Thursday, all groups were ready to go with a 4 way walkie talkie. That way each group leader would have a way to communicate with another group. Erek and James reported that the Yeerks were bringing in a very big laser weapon. Bigger and better that a Dracon Beam. The name of these lasers were M.Y.S.T. Beams. Only 5 on this shipment, but we couldn・t allow the Yeerks to have something that powerful. Groups A and D were to go into the Yeerk pool and retrieve the guns. The other two groups were to go into the Yeerk infested Lab out beyond the City Limits. We were all quite sure that it was the place that was producing these lasers. The Animorphs had made a trip to this Lab before, that・s why we had group B come to help us. (Two Animorph people are in that group of course). "After both jobs were complete, all groups are to report outside of the Texas Steak House. It・s located in-between both hit points." Jake said right before we all went to our assigned tasks. You can guess what groups B and C were going to do. Destroy all the machines that were capable of producing the Myst Beams to prevent any further production.
So groups B and C flew to the Lab. I was a Belted Kingfisher. Becka was a Black Crow. Sara was a Seagull. Brittany was a Red-tailed Hawk. Justin was a Vulture. Austin was a Kestrel. Ax morphed into a Northern Harrier. Marco was a Osprey We flew to the Lab. Jake was right about there being a electric shock-front force field. The question was, how do we get in?? Last time, they sneeked onto a truck that held chimps. That would take way to long. <Great, just great! What do we do!?> Justin said ruffling his wings. <I agree! This is insane!!> Marco said. <Let・s circle around a few times.> I said as everyone obeyed. <There!! At the back of the lab. No guards around. No cameras. Perfect place to go in.> Brittany said almost hovering over that location. <Uhhh-- there is still a force field there and a large concrete wall!!"> Justin said. <I do believe that Princess Brittany has a plan.> Sara said. <Yep. First, everyone de-morph down close to the wall.> Brittany said. <Since when did you take charge??>Becka finally spoke up as we landed and started to de-morph. "Shut up you bitch! I don・t have time for your crap!" Brittany said to Becka, both of them de-morphed. Everyone finished de-morphing and let their jaws drop. Brittany hardly ever cusses. She might not be sweet and angelic all the time but her mouth is squeaky clean. "Don・t get fresh with me you Wanna Be." Becka said. "Piss off you fat cow!!" Brittany said. <Princess Brittany, please restrain yourself from using vulgar language.> Sara now said de-morphed into Andalite form. "Cat fight!! Meow!!" Austin said with a laugh. "I want Chicken, I want Liver, I want Meow Mix please deliver." Justin and Marco said ．N Sync. "Cool it!! Do you want to get caught! Brittany, what is your plan?" I said. "Why does she get to be the one with the plan?" Becka said. "Oooo, Becka is sassy." Austin said. "Because she actually has a plan." I said to Becka. "We・re off. We are done. I don・t want to go out with you anymore you Ass Hole!!" Becka said turning away and sitting down on the ground. "Just let me go with my plan. I will shoot my electric mind-blow at the force field, possibly destroying it. Then I will use my new Earth mind-blow to knock down the wall." Brittany said. "Awe, you take all the fun out of the insane danger." Marco said sarcastically. "Everyone back up." Austin said. That was the first time we ever really saw Brittany in the act of using her powers. She concentrated on forming a ball of electricity. Then released it with as much power as she could summon up. The force field then turned off. Brittany had a short time to knock down the wall before we all knew Hork Bajir and Taxxons would swarm out. "Every, into battle morph now!!" I yelled. Becka morphed Panda. Marco morphed Gorilla. Justin morphed his new Hork Bajir. Sara and Ax stayed Andalite while Austin had to morph into his Andalite. I morphed into wolverine. Brittany finished the wall and we all ran in through the hole in the wall. Brittany has so much power that she just fights as human most of the time. <Oh this place is going down.> Brittany said to all of us. She hated seeing animals caged up for just experimental reasons. <Brittany, there is no reason to get all excited. Here is Xena・s friend Gabriel." Marco said. <Yep, that・s me. I don・t kill people, I just hurt them very badly.> Brittany said. <I believe we need to find the Myst Beams.> Sara said getting us back on track. <Group B will do that. Brittany, you stay here with Group C.> I said. Just before the group I was in left, I saw Brittany press a button on the wall and release all of the animals in the room. <Zac! Hork Bajir!!> Becka said to me. <Fight!!> I said to everyone in Group B. 8 Hork Bajir and only four of us. I lept into the air and sunk my teeth into the flesh of a neck on a Hork Bajir. I felt the blood of the alien poor out as I cut the veins with my fangs. I was unstoppable. I would rip and claw with anything I had to. Ax was slicing and dicing the Hork Bajir from many directions. Austin was great at backing us up while Becka would come from behind the Hork Bajir and almost pounce on them. It・s a good thing that Pandas aren・t all cute and cuddly. One minuet we were kicking the Hork Bajir butts and the next there was a loud siren going off all over the building. The Hork Bajir that were left retreated. I took a moment to take control of the animal again. I realized what I had done. I had slaughtered and killed. I spilled organs and Hork Bajir all over the room. It was as plain as the blood dripping off my face. <Guys, hurry up and find the stuff!! They know we・re here!!> Brittany said in a long rang thought message. The next room we came into was full of crates of guns. Written on the sides of each crate was ．M.Y.S.T. Beams・. We had came to the right place. This is were we would destroy the lasers.
<Brittany!! We need you to get your group in here now!!> Austin said to her in a long range thought message. <I・ll try to pull them out of here but we have a small problem.> Brittany said to us. <What is it??> Sara asked in what sounded like panic. <There is some... some really big alien fighter-thingies.> Brittany said. <Neleoturin!!> Ax exclaimed from the next room. <ITis huge Zac, and has 4 rows of sharp canine like teeth!!!> Justin exclaimed in his Hork Bajir morph. <Everyone!! Move back to the room with Brittany・s group!! They need our help!!> I said trying to get everyone out. <But what about the Myst beams!! We have to destroy it!!> Becka said. <We will, but first stop being a bitch and get out of here!!> Austin said to her. The Neleoturin was very big. It were trying to get in the door. It looked like a Gargoyle to explain it. Large red eyes set in his head, hidden by his snout and then his flabbering, drooling lips revealing his four rows of teeth. The flesh was Grayish-Orange and rinkily. Four powerful feet. Each equipped with ragging claws. A strong spiked tail and the mind of the worst person---uhhh-- being imaginable. <Andalite Bandits will finally meet there doom!!> Visser Three・s Voice echoed inside our heads. I almost de-morphed. I had to concentrate hard just to be able to stay in my morph. The heavy doors were our only defense to hide from him. And soon, his huge morph knocked those and made them crash in. <Ha ha ha ha ha. HA HA HA HA---> Visser Three started chanting, but stopped looking stone cold with wonder at one of us. I shifted my gaze, and saw Brittany. She was levitating three feet off the floor. She was summoning up power so even her short hair flew behind her head. <She---she--- has gained Ellimist placing range #2!!> Ax and Sara exclaimed not even meaning to talk at the same time. <What does that mean?> Austin tried to ask comely. <She has been training with powers in Ellimist range 1. It usually take any person Years to train until they can go on to Ellimist range 2!! Yet, she has done it in 5 months from the time she has got her power from Sara.> Ax said. <So that would mean---what??> Justin asked lost. <If she keeps training at this pace, she will become the Great Ellimist of this Relm!!> Sara said. Visser Three started morphing to Andalite. He then walked closer to Brittany. She still looked hard at him and continued to gain power. All of us moved back a few steps. <So, you are one of last surviving Ellimist. You must be Princess Brittany. Do you think you can beat me?? Well then, come on little girl.> Visser Three said. Brittany had finished gaining the power in the ball and now safely placed her feet back to the ground. "I shall love the day when I have finally have killed you. And it will be me that does." she said getting ready to throw the ball extreme power. <Silly little child. So much like your parents.> Visser Three said. With one fast, graceful, powerful, movement, all of the power she had been saving was now thrust forward at Visser Three. You know how a Apollo capsule looks when it・s coming back down to Earth?? You know, going so fast that fire starts to come off the sides?? That・s how Brittany energy ball look just flying across the lab. It was actually picking up power as it flew. Visser Three panicked and tried to move, but moved into the ball・s path. There was a beach ball sized, bleeding wound in Visser Three・s side. He placed his hand over it to try and stop it from bleeding. Trying to apply pressure. But we could help his bleeding go on. <Charge him!!> I yelled out of no where to all of my army. And they followed. Three Andalites were slicing at Visser Three, a Hork Bajir climbing on his back and shredding him. A Panda knawing at his legs. A Gorilla pounding his head in. A lion trying to find a place to attack. Visser Three screamed in pain and agony. He was cornered. He had to many wounds. His strange Andalite blood was oozing out. Guts spilled to the floor. Brittany picked up a knife off the counter and came ragging out Visser Three. Screaming like a banshee causing all of us to back away and watch her. She thrust the knife into his face, and tore right down the side. If he lived out of this fight, that scar would last there forever. <Ahhhh!!! You rotten Andalite scum!! You shall pay for what your Princess has done!!> Visser Three screamed at us, somehow more worried about the scar on his face than anything else. <Finish him!!> I yelled as we all started attacking him again in full force. But then he started to fight back. He used his tail to swat at us and fling us away. Justin kept attacking and ragging at him. Visser Three used the blade of his tail and cut Justin badly. Slicing through his arm, his arm falling to the ground and dark red, almost black blood came pouring out, <Nooooo!!> Justin tried to scream but got choked by the blood in his throuht as he feel to the ground whining. We all rushed to him and forgot Visser Three. Visser Three took this time to his advantage and ran out limping. <Nooo!! Turn the lights back on!! I・m scared!! I can・t see!! Pain!!! Owwww!! Noooo!!> He kept screaming. <Change back!!> We all yelled at him, Brittany with tears in her eyes because she was the only one in a form capable of crying. <I can・t!! Too much pain!! I can・t think!!> Justin screamed. "Change back now!!" Brittany yelled. <You have to or you・ll lose to much blood!!> Zac said. <I---I・ll try--> He managed to say. First the blades started to wither away into his skin, and his rough scale-like skin of the Hork faded into a dark tan. That being his original skin color, and before to much detail of his body came into view, his skin tight morphing suit appeared. His eyes went back to the brown pupils they had been, and his hair formed. He than shrank to his small size of 4・11. I was the average size boy being 5・3. Only two inches shorter than Austin, even though I was the oldest boy at the age of 14. Oh, but then I remembered about Brian. He was very close to 6 feet and must have been at least 15. Justin was now back to regular state and was still shaky from being wounded. <Morph the hamster you acquired. You need to stay out of commission for awhile.> I said to Justin. He did so and then I took everyone to the room the Myst beams were in. "Some of these boxes have writing of another language printed on the sides. Somehow I don・t really think it says Myst beams on the side of it." Brittany said. <Yes, I believe the boxes say Crystallized Grass.> Ax said studding the boxes. <Yes, and there also seem to be that object inside of the same boxes.> Sara said lifting a board off the top of one and looking in the box with all 4 eyes. <Probably to feed all of the Hork Controllers.> Becka said walking over. <Since we have landed on Earth, Crystallized Grass would be a very nice treat.> Ax said looking down with could have been droll over the food. But of course, he had no mouth. "I think, I have a way of transporting the objects out of here." Brittany said with a sly smile. With no objections, Brittany placed a hand on a box and began to concentrate on something. She formed the box and all of it・s contents of crystallized grass, into liquid. She had done this before, but when she did, she was morphing into liquid as well. This time, she remained flesh and the box turned liquid. <Can you turn the box back to the real state??> Justin asked from the palm of Marco・s gorilla hand. Without an oral answer, she turned the box back. <Cool!! How long can it stay like that!" Marco said. "Wait, I mean, that is insane!> "I once tried it on my pink sun glasses. Two hours Max. Unless this is going to reamin a water nothlit." Brittany said. <If we had a seal tight container, she could form all the boxes that we needed into liquid and place the liquid into the container. That way we could easily transport the boxes out.> Becka said. Austin left into another room and returned with such a container. After the boxes were in the container, we focused on the problem of how to destroy the Myst lasers. <Is there a way you could melt them with your heat vision??> Marco coaxed. <Yeah Super Girl, it would come in handy.> Justin continued. "Sorry but I haven・t mastered that one yet." Brittany said sarcastically after which, rolling her eyes. <Hey, where is Sara??> Becka said looking around. It was true that she hadn・t been seen for a few minuets. <I propose an idea. I have found a switch in another room. My understanding of the English Alphabet is improving, and I recognized a large button to say, ．self destruct・> Sara said walking in the door. Everyone stopped and stood. Those who could, dropped a jaw, and the others just stared. <Let・s do it!!> Brittany and Becka said at the same time. <Ahhh!! To many Power Hungry Tycoons out to destroy for fun!!> Austin said trying to be funny. <I think when he found out he was half Andalite, the heritage spread throughout his brain completely fucking up his chances to tell an amusing joke.> Marco said as Justin laughed at his antics. <I suggest we go before we are attacked by more controllers.> I said following Sara out to the room that ．the button・ was in.
Chapter 6 There it was, the button. There was no telling how long we would have to get out of the building before it would self destruct. Austin and Ax constructed a device that would push the button as soon as a person tripped over a wire at the entrance. "What about all the controllers??" Brittany asked in fear of all the deaths. <Is it a few lives you・re worried about, or the fate of an uncountable number.> Becka asked without any anger intended. That settled it with the debate there. <Everyone morph into something that can fly. We are going to press the alarm button then flee the building by flight. A controller will enter the room, trip the wire, and trigger the device. The button will be pushed and the Myst beams destroyed.> I said. Becka was a Black Crow. Sara was an bird from the Andalite homeworld called the Buffeafore. Brittany was here Red-tailed Hawk. Justin was a Vulture. Austin was a Kestrel. Ax morphed into a Northern Harrier. Marco was a Osprey. I placed the conatinor of liquid on a string around Brittany・s bird neck. Before I morphed, I pushed the alarm button. A loud siren sounded through the building. Noises of rushing around I could hear as I morphed a Belted Kingfisher (bird). The eight of us flew around corners until we saw the entrance. I was taking up the rear. We were almost safe. A second before he shot a Dracon beam at Becka, I saw a controller from a doorway. She fell towards the ground with raven black feathers spreading everywhere. The others didn・t see or hear. I knew it was up to me alone to get the two of us out of there right then. My adrenaline rushed as I swooped down and caught Becka with my talons. She was close too my own bird・s body weight. It was hard to hold on to her. She slowed me down. I could barely hear her thought speech in my head because it was to full of other random thoughts of fear. I heard someone say, through all of the noise, that Andalite Bandits had been messing with something in the control room. I knew in the next few seconds he would be triggering the device. I heard the noise with my supreme hearing, and I felt fire and destruction flooding the hall as I rushed out of the building. I flew as hard as I could out the door of the building, and got within 25 feet of the building when it really started to explode. Windows were busting, cries of dying controllers flooded out. I saw the others on the ground a few more feet away. I put Becka on the ground gently, then landed myself. I hadn・t noticed how much I was shaking and how hard I was panting inside. And how glad I was that my plan pulled through. <Visser Three is getting away in his personal helicopter.> Brittany said with a sear of anger as we all watched it safely leave the area. <Well, for me it started with a construction site, and I・m so glad that it didn・t end for me with the destruction site.> Marco said. <Justin?? You really scared me when you got hurt back there. You・re the only real bud I have anymore. And if you die on me like that--> I said in a private message. <Yeah, I・m just that likable.> he joked. <Now how about we all leave.> Chapter 7 Both operations pulled through almost perfectly. Everyone survived. And the two Andalites each got 10 boxes each of Crystallized grass. That night, I took my first real break since we UltraMorphs received the power to morph. I went on a quad-droupel date with Becka at the Blue-Bell-Gape, a resturant for teens and twenties. Everyone had to wear either blue or denim. The other groups were Tobias & Rachel, Jake & Cassie, and Brian & Brittany. We wanted Ax and Sara to come, but they didn・t understand the concept. All the girls were beautiful dressed. Becka wore a long denim jumper with medium blue flowers. Brittany wore a blue vinyl jumper with fashion stating zippered pockets, also a blue turtleneck sweeter, blue tights, and lug-soled pink boots. Rachel wore a fit-and-flare blue flannel jumper, blue mock-T, and white lug-soled boots. Cassie wore a white long-sleeved T, a medium blue denim short skirt, heathered blue tights, and suede boots. I wore dark blue Tommy Jeans, my white long sleeved-turtleneck, and my blue dress shoes. Brian wore a white T-shirt, a denim jacket, a pair of jeans that went with the jacket, and a pair of black shoes. Jake and Tobias were all decked out in Tommy Clothes, all blue in color. The food was great and so was the music that they had playing in the dancing room. "Okay, I can・t stand it anymore. I・ve got to go dance. It・s just not fun if you let everyone else do it." Brittany said as Brian pulled out her chair for her and they walked to the dancing room. "Yeah, let・s go Tobias." Rachel said trying to get Tobias up. "Uhh--I have two left talons." Tobias said, but of course he was in human morph. "Uhmmm, Becka would you like to go dance??" I said getting the picture. "Yes, I believe I would." Becka said standing up to her full height. Jake and Cassie got nervous, and then looked at each other to see if the other wanted to go dance. Cassie blushed while Jake ran his fingers through his hair.
We were all dancing, until Jake came over and whispered to me. "Jake, I・m sure, for the 10 time, no one will think that Andalite Bandits will go to dinner in couples of two." "Hey, Tom is here." Jake said talking of his controller brother. "So?? Don・t controllers get breaks also??" I said actually starting to enjoy myself. "He is here with Melissa, Chapman・s daughter. That can・t be good." Rachel said coming over concluding Jake・s observation. "What are we supposed to do Jake?? I know he・s your brother, but they are going to notice if one of their higher Yeerks are missing." Brittany said coming over. "Maybe, we could blow up the kandronna ray again, that way they would think that he died of kandronna starvation." Becka said coming over. "Guys, talk later. People could over hear." Brian said. Just then, a person on the stage took the mike and began talking. "Welcome everyone. Hi, I happen to be the manager・s son Mike Tomas. I・m also on the Football team, the debating team, the honor roll, and the Sharing. I have to say that the Sharing is one of the best clubs I・ve been to in a long time. There are plenty of members, and a lot of activities to join in. We・ll be handing out flyers and special gifts from the Sharing tonight as you walk out. Thank You." He said placing the mike back on the stand and letting the music continue. <More like hand out flyers and Yeerks.> Brittany said in a private message to us. "Hey little brother. You here with your friends??" Tom said to Jake. "Yeah, a quad-droopel date." He said trying to act normal. "Rachel, I love that dress." Melissa said. "Yeah, I went shopping at the mall." Rachel said. "We・ll have to go there shopping together soon. What are you doing next Saturday??" Melissa said. "Actually, I planed on going somewhere with my girl friends." Rachel said meaning Brittany and Cassie. "Well, I hope all of you can come to the Sharing soon." Tom said walking back to his table. "Yeah, I・d like to see you there sometime." Melissa said. "Maybe. See you later." Rachel said leading the other girls to the Restroom to talk. "Come on guys." Brian said to us guys. When we got to the bathroom, we checked all the stalls to see if anyone was in there. We needed to get Tobias de-morphed. Brian locked the main door and Tobias went into a stall to change. Under his clothes he had his morphing suit. I could hear the girls saying something in the next room that happened to be the girls restroom. <Guys?? Are you sure you checked the bathroom good in there??> Brittany said to us in thought speech. <Yes, it・s clear. Now can I change back??> Tobias said de-morphed. "We all need to leave this place if there are controllers. It doesn・t feel right anymore." I said. "We need to free them." Jake said. "We don・t have a way yet. How can we??" Tobias said trying to convert him in his human morph. "The disk. Before Elfangor died he tried to give us a disk. We have it back now. Marco and I have kept it secret though. We thought we could find a way to use it. It must be something that we can use. But the question is how." Jake said turning around and facing us. "Ah-ha!! I knew that the disk could be used for something!!" Brittany said busting through the door. "Oh my gawd, are those the stalls or the drinking fountains??" "Hey!! You・re not supposed to be in here." Brian said embarrassed. "Then come out so I can here everything you say. We need to leave here anyway. Five minuets more you can spend here and then we・re leaving." Brittany said mainly to all of us. Tom handed Jake back his coat and said he would see him later. We needed to discuss everything somewhere else anyway. We all left the building and returned to Cassie・s house. Everyone else was already in the barn. Erek and James included. "What・s up??" I said walking into the barn. "Everything that we need it appears." James said. "And that would be--" Brittany asked moving her hands in a circular motion as if to say ．get things rolling・. "There have been many malfunctions in the Yeerk Pool. The main parts that are inoperative are the defense systems. This is a perfect opportunity to do our worst to the pool." Erek said. "Oh, and I just wonder who did all of this." Marco said as if to say ．of course the Chee did.・ "That is what I was about to ask you." Erek said. "You mean, the Chee didn・t do any of it??" Tobias asked. "We haven・t. We do have reports that there are a few more Powerlings lurking around the Pools and putting very modern viruses into the mainframe." James concluded. "Powerlings??" Brittany asked. "Beings that poses a power that is extra-special and unique. Much like Brian, Becka, and Brittany. They train with their powers to reach a higher goal of effichintcy." Ax said in human morph. "Fascinating." Austin said standing with good posture and his hands behind his back. "Of course we have seen a girl that told us that definition already. About a month ago." "Yeah yeah Spock real fun. I think that we・re about to jump into another insane mission that we・ll come inches away from death." Justin said. "Finally someone that understands my point of view!" Marco commented. "What do you mean?? Did anyone fight her?" Rachel asked. "Yeah, I did and got my butt kicked doing it." Brittany said rolling her eyes. "But please save it for later." "Well, I think we should plan a move to destroy the kandronna pool and take any know controllers we can to allow their Yeerks to die. Then Tom will be free." Jake said. "Jake, I haven・t known you long, and I understand what you are feeling but--" Brian got cut off. "You understand?? You understand!!! You have another life to destroy these bastards but don・t know anyone that is really a controller that you care about. I have to see my Controller-Brother everyday. Eat meals with him, watch TV with him, and act as if I don・t know. How am I supposed to live with it!! Then you say that you understand!!!" Jake broke out close to tears. "Prince Jake, we all have experienced something that has made us want to fight. My brother died, Sara・s family, Brittany and Brian・s world, everyone of us has a reason to fight. Justin wants to fight to get back at the ones who once infested him. Rachel and Becka have no choice, and Tobias is there to take revenge on his father・s death. It・s our fight too now. OWWWWW nnnnnnnnOWWWWW." Ax said. There was a silence. Then Rachel brought up a subject. "Hey, where is the disk. Maybe Brittany can work to decode it somehow." Rachel said. "That・s a good idea." Brian said. "The disk?? What disk??" Sara asked. "The disk Elfangor gave to us no doubt." Marco said. "The disk!! You have the disk and did not say any ennnnnieeeee thing about it!!!" Ax said. "You know how we can use it??" Tobias said. "Yes. It is Andalite technology. I can also use it." Sara said. "If it is Andalite technology, there is a great chance that James and I can use it to." Erek said. "The disk is with me." Jake said looking into his jacket pocket. After a few minuets of serching, he looked up with a hint of fear. "I・ve lost the disk. Tom could have it!! At the club he handed me my jacket. He could have pulled it out of the pocket. He could know." Jake said with even more fear. "Bum ba ba!!" Justin said. "The plot thickens." Marco said. "Shut up. We・ll find it tomorrow." Cassie said. "We just have to hope that he won・t report us until then." someone said. And so tomorrow we will, for tomorrow is a new day and another fight. The struggle for the freedom of Earth will continue on!!!! |
