The Past Chapter 1 You know me. I am the powerful one. I work hard to gain new powers and abilities. I am working to save Earth. I am an UltraMorph. I am Brittany. I was at the gym one day, just training with some new powers. Cassie and Rachel walked in. "Hi, how are you? Is it hot in her or have I been training that hard??" I said out of breath. "You look beat. Here let me fix you hair up some. There now it doesn・t look plastered to your head. And ummmm, drink some water" Cassie said handing me the water bottle. "Oh my, you wear that to train in??" Rachel said from the door. "Guys, guys, what is this??" I asked getting unconvertible. "Guys, guys, exactly." Rachel said opening the door to let someone in. He was tall, about my age. He wore a dark black leather jacket, dark jeans, and a pair of black tennis shoes. His hair fell in place on his head in a natural wavy way. His black shirt was visible but who cared about that when he had such a cute, mysterious looking, genteel face. "Hey, don・t push yourself to hard." he said and at once I noticed his voice. "Tobias!" I said running over and hugging him. "Hi, I have a lot to tell you. You wouldn・t believe what happened. There was a man that called him self the Great Ellimist and he gave me the power to morph, and my own DNA. The only thing is, I・m still a hawk." He said to me with a smile on his face. "Here is something for you." he said handing me a locket. "That is so great!! I・m so happy!!" I said smiling so big my face hurt and my eyes twinkling so much that they began to water with tears. "The Great Ellimist gave me the power because I saved your life." he said smiling back his eyes too, watering with tears. "Rachel, I think we have some things to talk about outside." Cassie said. "What-- but---ummm- I was----" Rachel said before leaving with Cassie out the door. Tobias and I talked for a long time. We laughed and acted like we were old friends that had just been reunited. I was very happy he was at least visually human again. Being with him made me happy again.
We went back to the Yeerk Pool again another day. The stash of Dracon Beams we had stole helped to stun a lot of the controllers we came across. But it looked as if they had increased their defense. Tobias, Rachel, Zac, and I all were split up into a group. Our Dracon Beam was having technical difficulties. The four of us ran for our lives. Rachel and I were in the front running the fastest. Zac turned to shoot the controllers chasing us while Rachel and I both tripped over something and both of us began to fall into a 12 foot pit. Tobias rushed over to save us. I saw hi hand come down just as I thought he had come to save me again. A second later he grabbed Rachel・s hand and I fell screaming into the pit. Darkness. I was knocked out. I awoke in a dream state. I saw my mother in the great hall I was now fond of. "Mother!!" I said running to her feet. "My daughter, it・s time you learn your past. You need to take this time to discover your lost memories." my mother said taking my head in her soft gental hands. There was a bright flash of light and then I was remembering everything that happened before. Also seeing things that I should of saw but didn・t.
"My Princess Anita." My father said kneeling down to catch me in his arms. "King Gregory. Queen Brittany." my little friends said curtseying politely. "Thank you girls. Could you continue play while we take Anita for a few minuets?" "Yes ma・am." the little girls said curtseying again. So I took my mother・s and father・s hand and walked through the door into a pleasant white chamber with giant windows with long silk curtains. There was also a lovely royal sofa for the royal family to sit on. "My daughter Anita, you mother and I regret to give you sorrowful news." My father said sitting down with sitting between mother and he. "Yes, I・m afraid it is rather unpleasant. But it・s what is best." my mother said with a frown on her face. "I・m afraid that I will not be able to attend your princess crowing celebration. I have to go to a peace confrence with the Noddians. I tried to reschedule it but it just wouldn・t work. I・m sorry dearest I really am." my father said to me. "It doesn・t matter father. I know you would come if you could." I said looking at the floor tring to hold back the tears that were flooding my eyes. "I know you fell bad so I have bought you a present. Here dearest." he said handing me a box covered in gold plating. "Open it and tell me that you still love me as I love you, my daughter." "Father, even having the sun wouldn・t please me as much as having you would. But I still love you so I accept your gift with thanks." I said looking up into his loving blue eyes with my ever so much youthful brighter blue eyes. I slowly opened the large box and savored the brilliance of the object before me in this box. There was a pink tierra encrusted with sky blue diamonds with shinning with polish. "Oh father! It・s truly beautiful!! I adore it!! Thank you ever so greatly!!" I said holding the tierra in my hands. Time seemed to pass fastly. Stopping at the time when the a great war came on. My father was at a Peace Conferce with Visser Three. The Embassador of the Yeerks. My father・s Embassador was there also, but my father loved public apperences. While he was at this peace conferce, I was off with a young boy. Call it a date, but I knew that the deep feeling I had in my heart for this boy was much more than puppy love. I couldn・t tell you what the boy looked like now. Or if he even live anymore, but I knew he ment something to me. We were talking and laughing when a siren went off all over the planet. A loud monotinisses siren that signigled a warning. I was very scared and took the boy・s hand and he ran back to the Palace. The streats were filled with my people and the air was filled with high pitched screams of insanity and fright. The two of us ran on to the Palac and had it in our sites when a great dark cloud covered the sky. It struct fear in my and everyone elses heart. There was an unberable silence and the spce craft flew over the sky in a slow terrorising movement. It was a Yeerk Mother Ship. Carring only high ranking Yeerks, the Yeerk slave animals, and tools for colinizing /destroying whole planets. The breath in my chest stopped and my heart sped up beating as I relized what the ship being here ment. The death of my father. "No!!!" I yelled out with aperntly no one hearing me. "The king, is dead!! Everyone get to shelter and perpare for an invation of our homes!!" a Voice said into the loud intercom that was bolted to the street lights. The streets were brought back to life again as everyone angin emerged into panic. An aweful feeling came over me as I ran into the Palac and into the elevator to the levle my mother had to be on. The Yeerk that had inhabbited Justin・s head spoke the truth. I was seeing the distruction of my home like I saw it before I was reborn on Earth. This was real. Which ment I could possibly change things. We stepped off the elevator on the 42 floor. My mother was waiting for me at the docking bay there. "Mother, if the one called Visser Three ever approches you, do not except his offer." I said as my mother hugged me. "Anita, I love you, and your father loved you. But now it・s time for us to part. There is one pod left, with enough room for two lifes to be transported to Earth. I can not go with you. I must stay here. If our planet should be destroyed, I want you and ...... (she said the boy・s name) to go to Earth and recreate another planet for Elimists. You shall be reborn on Earth and shall grow to find anothe inhabbited planet, suitible for Elimists. Promise me that you will." My mother said crying and holding tightly to my shoulders. "I promise mother." I said with tears. "If you ever need me, this locket will bring you to the place I am, and we shall talk." my mother said handing me a pink locket with a music box inside it. "Good-bye mother. I love you." I said hugging her tightly before steeping into the pod with the boy and blasting off to a strange planet far away. "I shall love you for eternity Anita. Not even death shall seperate Brittany, Queen Serentity of Elimentor from her daughter the Anita Ellimentor Princess." my mother said bidding me good-bye before lauching the pod off. And so with a massivly heavy heart and a intense pain of love in her soul, my mother pushed the lauch button right before she was confronted with Visser Three. She turned down his offer to become Visser One and rule the Universe with him. She was banished to the Nexus, the land inbetween our familiar universe and the spirt Universe. The land between time and reality iself. And Queen Serenity did safe all the remaining Ellimist and to assure their safty for the present time, sent them all over the Universe. And Queen Serentiry had to remain in the Nexus for 20 years because she used to much of her own power saving her people insted of freeing herself and reuniting with her daughter on Earth.
I awoke from the dream state
in the great hall I had meet my mother in before. "Yes. I hope you do remember. I want you to train hard so that you might be able to destroy Visser Three. The murder of your father. I want you to seek out the boy you were sent to Earth with so that you may start the foundation for a new planet for Ellimist to live on." My mother said. "Mother, I will try hard to. I have a few questions though. Why was I placed in the family I was placed in, and why did they name me Brittany?? Brittany is your name, not mine." I said. "Everyone usually has a double on ever planet, unless that double has been killed. You could only be reborn as a member of our same bloodline." my mother said. "So you mean, I was born in the place of my double on this planet??" I asked. "Not exactly-. It took the pod two years to travle to Earth. Then because if you were to be born at the right time you needed to be born as another female in our family. You see, Earth time is behind the time of our planet. So your double was not born yet on Earth. You were reborn as my double. That is why you were named Brittany insted of Anita. Your Earth mother is your Ellimist Grandmother・s double. Your brother is your Ellimist Uncle・s double. But please remember also, just because a person is another person・s double, doesn・t mean that the double has the same achivement, memories, or other unique qualites that a person gains as the grow older. You might call it, the Intergalatic Twins Network." My mother said with a beuiful smile at the end. "I・m afraid it・s time you go back to Earth at your own time. I am sending you back to Earth at the exact time you left." my mother then said. "So you mean, it・s sort of like the "Lion, the Witch, and the Wardorbe??" I asked. "Well, just the thing about going back to your own land at the exact time you left." My mother said still smiling.
I awoke to find myself in the ditch. Tobias had caught Rachel・s hand insted of mine. "It・s okay if he couldn・t catch you Brittany." I told myself "He・s only so strong and can only work at one thing at a time." By why did he catch Rachel insted of me. He caught her had and brought her to her feet. She stubbled getting up, and their eyes met for a second. Tobias looking at Rachel. Rachel looking at Tobias. I hit the groud and blanked out before I saw more. Now each of them were calling out my name to see if I was okay. "Yeah, I・m fine." I said feeling nearly heart broken inside. "I・m sorry, I couldn・t catch both of you." Tobias said to me holding his hand out to grab mine. "Oh like I can reach that far. I・m only 5・4 and you expect me to reach up 6・8 more than my own height?? That・s not happening." I said to them getting up from the ground. "Hey guys, need some help?" Jake said from the oppisit side of the ditch that Tobias and my group were standing. "Here, catch this." Cassie said lowering a ladder to me made with rope and planks of wood. I caught the ladder and climbed up while Jake and Marco held the ladder from above. Justin and Cassie helped me of the ladder when I got to the top of the ditch. "Morph birds and fly over here." Jake said waving his hand. Cassie took Marco, Justin, and I back to the place the otheres were at. I had a look of great sorrow and pain on my face. I tried to keep tears from coming. Okay, I admit I like him. I have the biggest posseble crush on him throughout the know Universe. But seeing that he looves another, breaks my heart to the smallest it・s been since my past life when my father died. Jake brought Zac, Tobias, and Rachel to the place we were all at by another route. We were still in the Yeerk pool. But it seems that Cassie and her group found another door out of there. This time it was under the city park. We all climbed up the steps that led to the door and changed to woodland creatures before saying good-bye and going our sperate ways. I took off a while. I was in the morph of hawk. Then once I though Tobias was back at his medow, I followed him there. I flew to the other end of the medow and watched him in his tree. He was sleeping I think. I used my powerful telescope like hawk eyes just watching him. Thinking of reasons why he would pick Rachel over me. I loved him more than she ever could. I was smart, pretty, funny, nice, bold, couragoise, and a good friend. I couldn・t think of why he like her more. Soon I noticed him flying off. Chapter 5 I followed, of course. He flew over houses, and building, high in the night sky. The he landed at Rachel・s house. I morped to back to human behind a dumpster across the street, then into a squirrle. I climbed the tree beside Rachel・s room. And looked in on the conversation. "So your father was an Andalite!" she exclaimed to Tobias. "I・ll tell everyone more tommorrow." Tobias said. "Are you going to beome human or not??" Rachel asked. "No. I・m both Tobias the hawk and Tobias the boy the way I am now." He said. "I can・t believe you!" Rachel said turning away and facing the wall. Tobias morphed into human and placed a hand on her shoulder. She turned her head back to him and looked into his eyes with forgivingness. He took her hand and he walked her to the end of the bed. Their eyes were still on one another. Tobias neared her face and she neared his. Their lips were inches away from each other!! I needed to do something. I suddenly had a insane idea and decieded to go through with it. I don・t think I could wish anymore so much that squirrles could fly except that one time before I made my move. I jumped from the branch and spredding my arms created sort of wings that helped me to leep into Rachel・s hair and stop her from kissing Tobias. "You know, I think that squirrle was trying to keep us from kissing." Tobias said jokingly. Just at that moment Rachel sent me a dreedful message in thought speech. She of course still thought I was just an animal. The message was full of cursing and cussing like I・d never heard. I laughed like I・ve never laughed before. Of course it all came out as a bunch of chimpmunk chatter. Tobias took me off Rachel・s head and put me outside. "I guess I should go." Tobias said. "Wait." Rachel said before he morphed. Then before I could stop it, they kissed. A long beuitiful, heart breaking kiss. A kiss that I should have saw coming all along. I should・ve just stepped out of the way a lot earlier. It saved all the pain and distress I was feeling. My best friend and the boy I love the most, were together. Maybe, he saw something more in her. I was to sad and heart broken to care. I ran back to the dumpster. Then changed back to human morph. I ran farther. I ran in the night sky. My feet were shoeless and my hair was blowing fruiosly in the wind of my speed. I ran untill my eyes were so tear filled I couldn・t see. That・s when I ran into a boy
that was crossing the street. I looked up at his gental, kind face and saw a kindred spirt. He had bright blue eyes, short blond-brown hair, and had a great sense of dress. "Yes." I said staring at him, the tears on my face dring. "Here, let me help you up." he said offering his hand to me. When our hands met, a tingle ran all throug me. A familarness. A goosebump feeling. He helped me up and I prushed myself off. "I・m sorry I ran into you." I said to him noticing that he was transfixed on me too. "It・s fine. I・m Brian. If you don・t mind my asking, what・s your name?" he asked polity. "It・s Brittany." I said back to him. "Oh, your not the person I thought you were." he said saddly. "What?" I asked. "You just reminded me of someone I once knew." he said. "I have to get home now." he then said walking away. "You feel it do??" I asked him abrotantly. "Excuese me?" he asked puzzle but politly. "Are-- are you from Ellimentor??" I asked. "What?? How did you know about that planet??" he asked walking back toward me. "You・re him, aren・t you??" I said. "Are you Princess Anita?" he asked. "Yes! Then you are him." I said smiling. Just as we were talking a car came around the corner in a fast pace. I stood froze, not remembering to move. The car neared faster. Brian grabed me by the waist and jumped to the sidwalk with me. He then did a roll into the grass to secure that neither of got hurt. Just in the nick of time. The car would have hit me. He saved me. "I need to go." he said picking me up and putting me down on my feet again. "Me too." I said going back toward my house.
The next morning all I could think of was Tobias and Rachel. How could they?? I trusted them. Rachel was the perfect best friend and Tobias the perfect guy. I stayed in my room and watched Rachel in her room. She made a call to Cassie and said how she had kissed Tobias and finaly made her dream come ture. She exclaimed about how happy she was. Then she said good-bye and saw me looking over at her. She waved over at me. I turned away and put on my earphones. I turned up the music and then relized it was a love song. All I needed right now. I stopped the CD and put the headphones down. Then I got out my yearbook. Of course I turned the page right to the class that Tobias was in. I didn・t even mean to! I just flipped it open and there was his picture. I heard a know on the door. It was Rachel, I looked out the key hole and saw her. "Brittany, can we talk??" she asked. I quickly used me escape route. There was a door behind all my clothes in my closet. It was covered up by a big poster of Spice Girls. I went through the door and was in my mom・s room. I took out an old box of her・s from the shelf and saw her long blond wig from the 60・s. I put it on and adjusted it in the mirror. I heard Rachel still knocking on my bedroom door. Then I heard her give up and go back down the stairs. Followed by her exiting the house and saying good-bye to my mom. I took the back stairs to get downstairs. Then I went out the back door of the house. I went to the fence in the back yard and moved the lose board, and pushed myself through. It was Mrs. Rodger・s house. She was a late night partyier so she always slept till noon with a hang over. I left her yard and was out on the road. I walked down the road till I came to Cassie・s house. It was actully two miles away but I managed to there. When I was just getting ready to walk into the barn I knew I・d fogotten to take off the wig I was wearing. "Oh Beep!! Now I look insane." I said getting embarssed infront of no one. "Brittany, you look insane. Take that off, it・s scarry." Cassie said walking up to me. "Can I put it in your room?" I said taking off the wig. "Sure, but don・t you want to talk to Tobias??" Cassie said. My heart sank even farther and I tried not to cry any. "No, I think I・ll see him another time." I said walking up to Cassie・s house to put it up. "Brittany, somthings wrong and I know it." Cassie said walking with me. "No, nothings wrong." I said still forcing myself not to cry. "Brittany, tell me what is wrong." Cassie said sternly. "Whoa, nature girl is getting angry. And Power Puff Girl is getting close to the waterworks." Marco said. "Shut-up." I said to him for calling me a Power Puff Girl. "Sorry, but I just couldn・t resist." he said almost making me want to punch him. "Does it benifit your ego picking on people?? I sure hope you get a kick out of this one. Take a hike you insignift little smart alick. Get a life other than critizing people and you might have hopes of getting a better job than working at McDonalds for 22 years. So leave me alone before I get T-ed!!" I said turning around at Marco and then running to Cassie・s house before anyone else stopped me.
I just stopped in Cassie・s room for a minet and had a good cry. I wished I could just leave this awful place were your heart is played with then broken. "Boy problems??" Cassie asked from the door. "Yeah," I said. "Here, take it out on the punching bag." Cassie said bring a old kiddies bunching bag out of her closet. One of those that sat on the floor and went back and forth when punched. "Yeah, maybe I will." I said. "Just talk to it and let out all of your feelings. Or let it out while punching the sand out of it." Cassie said. "For, being my friend and leading me around by the nose. And then just as I loved you even more and thought I had a chance with you, you like someone else." I said hitting the punching bag pretty hard. "So what makes you thing he likes this other girl more." Cassie asked me. "Well he saved her life insted of mine, then looked at her with a devine look of pasion and romance." I said punching the bag harder. "How does that mean he likes her? There could have been something in her teeth." she said. "Then, for kissing her." I said and then gave the bag a great punch that sent in up in the air and hitting the wall which was at least four feet away. "Ummmmm. The bag has had enough." she said putting the bag up again. "He kissed her. Right there infront of me." I said plopping down on the bed and then crying again. "Did he see you?" Cassie asked. "No, I was spying on them in squirrle morph." I said. "Ummm, you like Tobias don・t you." Cassie said laying a hand on my shoulder. "How did you know?" I asked. "Well, why would you have got excited every time he came into view. And Rachel called me last night to brag about kissing Tobias." Cassie said sitting beside me. <We are going to the Yeerk Pool.> Ax said flying into the room as a Northern Harrier. "Okay, we・ll be there in a minet. I think we need to take something back to Brittany・s house." Cassie said.
So Cassie and I stopped by my house to drop the wig in my room. That・s when I noticed my locket that Tobias gave me was gone. "I must have dropped it last night." I said remembering Brian and the time he saved me from the Car. "We・ll find it later." Cassie said. So we went to the Yeerk pool and met up with the group at the same place at the intrance we used as exit last time. We spilt up in groups. I with Zac, Rachel, and Tobias. I didn・t say anything to Rachel and Tobias when they talked to me. We were ambushed by a lot of contollers with Dracon Beams. We had time to run behide some barrles and morph. Tobias unmorphed, Rachel morphed Bear, and Zac morphed Elephant. I was prepared to fight with my powers and skills. Zac and Rachel attacked from the sides. Tobias flew over their heads then swooped in from behind and attacked. The controllers were confused. <Brittany, now!!> Zac said. So I leashed out my full scale attack. Filled with my electric zapping power, water zapping power, and gymnastic kicks, flipps, and puches. I was caught off gaurd and manged to dart away from a Dracon Beam before it hit me. I landed wrong and fell down. I couldn・t do anything to protect myself. Everyone else was having trouble trying to fight to defend themselfs. I thought it was the end of the line. I could see the end of the Dracon Beam and it getting ready to hit me with a deadly ray. Then I heard a familar voice, learking in the Shawdows. "Hey, try fighting fare. I・m challenge you if you・re not chicken controller." the voice said. "Who said that?" the controller asked puzzled. "In the name of Neo Queen Serenity, I fight for all Ellimists!!" the voice said before throwing two fireball mindthrows at the controller. He jumped down from the ledge he was standing on and picked me up. "Brian!" I said reconizing his face. "Can you walk?" he asked. "I・m not sure." I said. Before I saw the controller coming, Brian threw two more fire mindblows at the oncoming controller. "Let・s get out of here. Your friends can handel the rest, but you・re hurt." he said carring me out another way that my friends and I hadden・t discovered. He carried me on to a hill where there was nothing but a small house. The hill looked out over the whole hill. He opened the door, then put me down on the floor to walk me to a chair. The whole house was made of three rooms. A bathroom, a small bedroom, a kitchen, and the room we were presently in. This room looked like a lab. There was a table in the middle of the room that had a lot of testing tubes, flaskes of chemicals, and chemical tubes. There was a flew lamps, a couple of chairs, a TV and VCR, a celing fan, and the windows were blacked out with black mini blines. There wasn・t anything fancy. No carpets except for the matt at the door. The walls were gray and bare without any pictures. "You want something to drink?" he asked me. "Umm, no I・m fine." I said. "Here, let me rap up your leg in this bandage. It looks like the beam nicked it just a little." he said. "Owwww." I said. "There, that might help." he said. "What did you mean by saying Neo Queen Serenity back there?" I said. "Well, my father told me that was to be the name of the new Ellimist Queen. I see my father in my dreams. I go to the gym and practice a lot with my powers. I also created an elixer that speeds up the prgress of power learning. I・m already on the 12th power levle." he said picking up a flask and handing it to me. "How did you know I was at the Yeerk Pool." I asked. "Your locket. It had your address on it. I went there and saw you leaving with another girl. I followed behind you and then into the Yeerk Pool. I thought you needed saving." he said. "Yeah, I really did." I said taking the locket from his hand. "It・s getting late, your friends might be worried about you." he said. "Yeah, thanks for everything Brian." I said as I took the flask and my locket and went toward the door. He opened it for me and stepped out after me. I suddenly turned around and for no reason at all, I kissed him. He was surprised at first but then he kissed back. I could actually feel something on the other side of that kiss. I felt a serge of plesentless all through me. My heart lifted off the ground and I knew Tobias was out of my heart. Love is funny sometimes. Here I was kissing this boy on a hill under the setting sun. A boy from my past life. The boy I was sent to Earth with. It felt right being there with him. The kissed ended and both of us opened our eyes. Nothing was said. We just looked at each other. It was like we knew what the other was thinking. <I diddn・t mean to..> I started in thought speech. <It・s okay, I was wondering how you would feel if I did that.> he said back in thought speech. "Would it be okay if later you came to my house? Would your parents mind?" I asked. "I live with my brother. But I think he・ll let me." he said. "I need to go now." I said sort of shy. "I・ll see you later." he said back to me. I walked home in a state of enteral bliss and happiness. Everything was clear. The world seemed to sparkle and shimmer in the still setting sun. I went up to my room and imediantly called Cassie. "Hey Cassie, guess what!" I said happily before telling her the whole romantic story with happiness and joy. Tobias stopped by later and turned human. "I was wondering if something was wrong. You didn・t say anything to me. We・re still friends right??" he asked. "Yeah, just friends. I just had other things on my mind." I said to him. My heart was filled with the thought of a real love. Brian. Chapter 9 The next day I went to the traning gym. I drank exactly two drops of the special elixer Brian gave me. Automaticaly I felt a surge of energy flow through my blood stream. I felt a sudden powerful feeling cerculate all through me. Without the command in given by me, I started to train harder that ever. I was throwing my power then moving at fast speeds and command the power to halt and reverse. I was jumping off walls and bounding off the floor to do incredible sprints. I was active and intergettic. I was moving smothly and naturly. It all came so easliy that I knew that I had already trained on this power level as much as possible. I noticed I hadden・t even broken a sweat. I sat down for a minuet and relized that I was extremly hungry. And I mean hungrier than usuall. (That is a lot if you know how much I can assume. Strangly, I always burn off the fat and calories before they will become bulky mounds of flesh). I remember reading somewhere that if you work off to many of the calories that your body is trying to digest, you body must recive more nutriants in order to make up for what was worked off. So I steeped outside the training room and went strait to the vending machiens. That・s where I saw Brian there, also fiinding something to eat. "Brittany." he said surprised as he looked up from the lables of snacks and caned drinks. "Brian, are you training here too??・ I asked. "Yeah, I have the room that has a lot of rings, climbing bars, peg boards, and balance beams, things like that. Insted of just a few mats on the floor." He said with a half smile. "Well, you・ve got me jeilous. How were you able to get one of those kind?? I thought it took money to train in one of those??" I asked. "Well, my brother has a really good job at one of those computer places. My family on this planet seems to be all about earning money and saving it for no reason at that moment." Brian said slicking his hair back with his hand. One of those things a person does without knowing it. "Well, my parents save money but they don・t give me but 10 dollars a week." I said. There was a short silence while we just stood there and looked into one anothers eyes. Some people say that when you look into a person・s eys, if you look hard enough you can see into their soul. I still haven・t found what that exactly means yet. "Hey, do you want to come to my gym room and train for awhile in there?? I really need to train against some one else for awhile. It seems to help more when you do." he said. "Sure." I said following him to his training room.
So I took off my sweat bands and got into a fighting stance. I prefered a stance close to the ground, ready to strike, alert, and easy to spring from the ground and into the air if needed. "Ready??・ he asked getting into his stance, somewhat different from mine. "Ready," I said focusing my mind and eyes on the target. "Try not to get hurt." he said joking. "Ha," I said smiling. So it began. I lept into the air with a kick that knock down any oppinte I had faced before. But before I could think, Brian already did a spining kick and knocked me out of the air. I used the gravity to touch the ground and then leep to a powerful double kick. It would have hit directly into his chest, giving me enough time to throw a few eletric mindblows at him. But unluckly for me, he was ready for my attack and flipped me over and threw me to the mat. I couldn・t breath, I was struggling for air. I felt light headed and suddenly weak. "You have to fight from different angels. Use your target・s blindspots against him. Push yourself to the limt until you have passed the limt of any you could imangine.・ Brian said helping me up. Words of wizdom can actually help you to strive for your goals. The next minuet I was fighting and raging like I never had before. Brian was having trouble defending himself. We both went to oppisit sides of the mat and took a few breaths before returning to our fight. "Good, now keep it up and don・t let your gaurd down." he said before we lept back into action. Both of us were at full power and speed. It was hard for either of us to score hit points on the other because we were both very catious about on coming attacks. "Forget this." I said leeping to my corner of the mat and charging my power and concentrating hard on eletric mindblow. I formed the ball in my hands, making sure I knew where it was going to go by putting all my energy into the ball. Then, with great force, I pushed the ball of electricity to my target. I made sure it was on corse and would follow through nicely. It was within two feet from hitting him, and suddenly, using his own power, he was able to bring the ball of power to a halt. He brought it under control and turned it around with his mind. I was sweating tring to gain control of the ball again. I was to late and he already had the ball coming towards me at full throtle. I almost now had control enough over the ball to stop it from hitting me. But again I was too late. The ball hit me hard like tons of bricks. It hit hard enough to cause me to flip over and hit the mat. My breath and strenth were both knocked out of me. I saw Brian rush over to help me. And I just blanked out. Chapter 11 After I woke up, Brian helped me just to train. He helped me to use the traing objects in the gym. As I used each object an got the feel for it, I could use it to help my skill level rise. We both stopped training and agreeded that we needed to go home. We each said good-bye and I thanked him for training with me. He said that we could both train more tommarrow in the same room. I looked forward to it. As I walked home, I noticed that Becka and Zac were out on a date. I saw them eatting outside at Pizza Hut. As I walked on, I saw Cassie and Jake at the McDonalds. I contiued home and then I just stretched out on my bed. 2 hours later I awoke and sat strait up in bed. My lips trembled with half fear, half excitment. For I knew one secret that could help us win the war with the Yeerks. The Animorphs had some sort of a disk that Elfangor the Andalite gave them. This disk must be a weapon to help us all in our great battle. How are 8 kids, 2 1/2 Andalites, and one Ellimist child going to win a war with a bunch of Aliens from another planet??
