Togetherness Chapter 1 I am half Andalite. My friend is a child of an Ellimist. My sister is a alien that a month and a half ago, I didn't know existed. We are 3 kids, 1 Ellimist, and 2 Andalites. But no matter how you look at it, we are the UltraMorphs. I got up one morning and did the usual farm routine. I woke up Sara and brought her some breakfast. I logged onto the net for a few minuets and checked my E-mail. Just some stuff from Brittany, I thought as I read the address. I opened the mail and found it to be a video mail. Audio was included with this particulate piece. "I have made much improvance in my training. My mother says that I・m starting the fourth level already. Isn't that great?" Brittany said pacing up and down the floor with a worried voice and expression. "What if Visser Three did kill my father and send my Mother to the Nexus?" she said looking into the computer camera with a worried look. "What if I am also killed by him?? What if on the next trip to the Yeerk pool, I die? Or one of you die?? What if the Yeerks win??" she said her eyes clouding with tears. "I need answers. I can't find them just by hanging out with all of you. Until sooner notice, I will be leaving the UltraMorphs to find out my past and what my future may bring. I also need to train harder so that if Visser Three and I ever meet, I can beat him. Please show this to the others. I'll be at Zac's meeting today but I don't think I can explain what I have in this message. Signing off." she said and then pushed the stop button.
"Zac, I need to show this message on your computer. In front of everyone." I told Zac in a low calm voice. "Now?" he asked. He didn't ask anymore because of the look on my face. "All Earth Saving teams, before we proceed with our other information, Austin has a message for all of you to see." Zac said to everyone. I let all of them see the message and afterwards there was a silence. "Brittany needs her space. I think we should except that." Marco said. "But she is the one that keeps us going and focused. She reminds us to do our best and to remember what we・re doing this for." Cassie said. "And she is my friend." Rachel said taking Cassie・s side. "It・s her choice. Let is slide. We can do it without her." Jake said. "I think she is a controller. She is a power hungry freak that・s soul is based on--" Becka started but was cut off by Brittany entering the room. "I need to leave here and that is one of the reasons. I love Earth and I want to help, but I need time to find myself." Brittany said. <But what about...> Tobias started. "Let her take her time. It・s best." Justin said.
Two days after Brittany・s departure, we made a move to the Yeerk Pool. This time when there was no Sharing activity. We snuck into the pool and searched the area for things that could be of use. We found a large room with a maple flavored oatmeal. "Heaven!!" I said getting ready to make a nose dive into the mountains of rolling oatmeal. Ever since the Animorphs explained to us that Instant Maple Flavored Oatmeal will cause a host of a Yeerk to overpower the parasite, oatmeal has become my favorite food. "Not so fast, Austin." Zac said to me just as I was on my toes to make the dive. "Awe, why can・t I?? Huh huh?? Why!!" I pouted. "We don・t know where it・s been." Justin joked. I frowned at him and still wondered why I couldn・t eat the oatmeal. "We are here to find out what things we can use, not just things we can steal." Becka said rolling her eyes and tossing her hair over her shoulder. Preppy snob. I thought in my mind as she prissed around like Miss America. Oh my god I・ve become Brittany!! I thought again. She hardly ever cusses and it is sometimes hard to stop my dirty street mouth from cussing out a whole rap song. Anyway, where was I?? Ah-ha, yes. "Exactly like Becka put it. We don・t need to attract any more attention to ourselves then we have to. Let・s move on to the next room." Zac said leading everyone else to the door that led to the next room. Zac slowly and quietly opened the door and all of us held our breath. We looked in the door and saw a boy about our age going through the computers. <Controller??> I asked Zac in thought speak. That・s something I picked up from being half Andalite. Zac shook his head and we all continued to watch silently. "Stupid Yeerk computer. You would think that with all the security they have so no one can get in this place, they could afford to upgrade this computer to where it・s not human made. Humans can be so primitive sometimes." the boy said still typing on the computer. As I watched him closer I noticed that he reminded me of someone. Then I placed it. He did look a lot like Jake from the Animorphs, only shorter. I suddenly realized that Sara was not looking in through the crack in the door. I turned around only to find her eating some of the oatmeal. She loved to eat food when she was in human form. She could almost out eat Brittany, almost. "This is a wonderful food!!" Sara exclaimed loudly. Too loudly. The boy at the computer heard and turned to find us watching him. "Controllers!!" he said pointing a Dracon Beam at the four of us at the door. "Now-- now, don・t get do excited." Zac said shaking with fear. Before anyone said anything else, the boy shot the hinges off the door. The next second, the door was falling down with the four of us on it. We and the door landed on the ground. "State yourselves!!" the boy said hovering over us with the Dracon Beam ready to kill. "Hmmm, isn・t this the way we met Sara??" Just said sarcastically. Although it was true. "Sara! Where is she!!" I exclaimed. <Right here sibling Austin.> Sara said jumping over the door and us in her normal form. "An Andalite!! Visser Three! Wait, you・re a girl." The boy said confused. <My name is Sares-Esgoth-Ishtill.> Sara said placing her tail blade to the boy・s neck. <And I will ask you kindly to remove the Dracon Beam from pointing at my friends and my sibling and hand it over to us.> She said keeping all four eyes on the boy. "I was not programmed for violence!!" the boy said. "Programmed?!" I asked puzzled. "I am a Chee!" he said morphing into a strange creature. I could tell that Sara had seen his kind before. I however, was puzzled at his appearance. He looked like a dog on his hind legs to be quite frank. "We won・t hurt you! Just morph back, please!!" Justin said shielding his eyes. The boy--uh--Chee, changed back. (I don・t know how else to put it. It really wasn・t morphing.) <You are not infested?> Sara asked the "Chee". "No, I am just a spy for my people. I use the hologram of a boy to fit in among the human race of this planet. Please allow me to go free without harm." he said now getting down on his knees. All of us looked at one another. Except Sara which looked at everyone with her stalk eyes. "Okay, if you don・t accept pleading, then except anger. Let me go or I・ll scream!!" "Ha , ha, also, ha. Word of advice, leave screaming to girls." Justin said. We heard noises out side the door that led us into the oatmeal room. "Visser Three sir, there are voices coming from the Oatmeal room sir." a controller outside the door said to a familiar Andalite/Controller that we knew. <Andalite Bandits? Come out of there and surrender and we shall let you live. With a Yeerk in your heads of course.> Visser Three said to us. "Ahhhh!!!" Justin screamed in a girl voice. I laughed, then noticed that he really was screaming. <What is your name Chee??> Sara asked. "Erek. But are you going to stay and fight?? Or come with me on my escape path??" Erek asked with a half smile and a wave for us to follow him. <Prince Zac, Sibling Austin, I suggest we follow Erek.> Sara said. "Good idea." Justin said agreeing and following Erek. "Is that you Justin??" I said wondering why he was actually corroborating. "Yes, I want to get out of here first!! It・s insane to stay here any longer." Justin said. "That sounds like the idiot we know." Becka said rolling her eyes and tossing her hair over her shoulders again. "After you Space boy." Becka said to me. "Age before beauty." I said. "Freakish Geak." I heard Becka mutter.
Chapter 2 We left the Yeerk pool by another route. It seemed to be much safer. No Gleet BioFilter or anything. It brought us to the woods. As we walked to my house to have a short meeting, Erek told us of all the things that he and the Chee inhabitants of Earth did. He lived just like a normal kid. There was a Chee that played his father, and they all lived in a normal Earthling suburb. He talked and acted just as if normal kid our age would. A thing that fascinated me was how long the Chee could live. Very long life spans. Erek and the other Chee despised the Yeerks just as much as all the other of us Earth savers. But there was one fact that could not escape the inebetal. Because Erek was what we call an "Android" that means that most everything is programmed into him. He・s a walking computer! Computers might not have feelings exactly, but they learn things that help them to almost pass that large gap. "When you are around humans for awhile," he explained " You tend to pick up things. Our programmers, the Permilites, disliked the Yeerks also. So that is why we have that feeling built in. But we are programmed not to cause any violence. We don・t fight the Yeerks, but we do spy on them and take things that may be useful to us." Erek said making his hologram give a sly smile. "It・s truly amazing how real your hologram looks. But how are you able to go in and out of the Yeerk pool so easy, without the transported transporting you to the Yeerk Mothership. I can・t see how a machine can posses a Yeerk in one・s brain. Machines don・t have brains. They have microchips, hard drives, a mother board. At least the ones on Earth do." I said to Erek. "Ah, but that is an amazing thing about Chee Androids. We have been around so long that we have picked up a large quantity of knowledge. We have gotten really smart. I do have a Yeerk in my head. But that・s just so that Yeerk traps that are controlled by computer will analyze that I do posses a Yeerk. I have complete control over my Yeerk. You see, my Yeerk is wired inside my head." Erek said with an even bigger smile that looked some what eerie to me. "Ummm-- I don・t think I want to know any more....." Justin said. "I can tell you are quite confused. Let me show you the Yeerk." Erek said. "Wait you can do--" I started but stopped after witnessing the single most disgusting, yet cool thing, I・ve ever saw. He turned off his hologram, then spilt his head open so that we could see inside his head chamber. It was really amazing--cool. There was hundreds of wires all insulating the inside of his head. Many looked powerful enough to call it a superconductor. There were many of different colors. Some were transparent, yet the human eye could see a sparkling electricity running through it. My eyes beheld the sight with amusement and wonder. Right in the mists of all these wires and tiny, tiny supercomputer microchips, was the Yeerk. When you looked at just the Yeerk itself, not really looking at where the wires led, the Yeerk looked like it was hooked up to a lot of IV・s. Some of them might have been to support the Yeerks life, that way the Yeerk computers would detect the Yeerk. There was a silence while we all investigated the scene. "Oh my god, that is like, so gross. I just can・t stand it. I think I・m going to like, barf." Becka said in her preppy way. "Are you okay Becka?" Zac said rushing over and grabbing Becka・s hand. "Now that you are by me, I feel better already." Becka said to him batting her eyelashes. "Hey Becka. If you・re going to spew, spew in this." Justin said taking out a little paper cup from his pocket. "Get away from me you demented psycho gay wad!" Becka shouted to Justin. "Oh my god, I think I・m going to like, say hi to all of you." Brittany said walking up to all of us. <Friend Brittany, it is delightful to see you here.> Sara said, still in her Andalite form. Brittany and Sara are really good friends. They are as close as two alien girls of different races can be. "That is so cool. You have a Yeerk hooked up inside you. That is the perfect torment for any of those slimy slugs." Brittany said to Erek. "Uhhh-- should I be worried about her seeing me??" Erek asked, now with his hologram on and his head back together. "Erek here is our regular humpty-dumpty Brittany." Justin said putting a friendly arm around Erek・s shoulder. "Oh Erek, this is just the Ellimist child Brittany." "Ellimist child!! Oh my, what a great honor to see a Ellimist outside of the Nexus!! What a great honor!!" Erek said bowing down to Brittany. "Oh yes Great Ellimist child." Justin said goofingly getting down on his knees also. "I・m not worthy!! I・m not worthy!! I have no self worth!!" Justin said now doing yet another imitation from Wayne・s World. "Ha ha ha. Ha ha he. He he ha. I・m laughing so hard." Brittany said not really laughing at all, but smiling just the same. "Get up doofuss!" I said smacking Justin in the back of the head then laughing my head off. <Brittany? Austin? Erek??> Tobias said landing on a nearby tree. Tobias is really cool. He even could go out with the PHAT Rachel if he wanted to. "Tobias? You know these guys??" Erek asked Tobias. <Do you know these guys Erek??> Tobias asked surprised. "Yeah, I helped to get them out of the Yeerk Pool. It・s strange that I met them there." Erek said. Just then I noticed Brittany slilently walk away. <Well, I see you・ve met my Andalite cousins.> Tobias said. "Andalite cousins?? What do you mean?? You・re not a--" Erek started. Tobias changed into his own Andalite form. The Great Ellimist recently gave it to him. I have a feeling that somehow Brittany asked her mom, and Brittany・s mom asked the Great Ellimist. Seeing Tobias changed, I changed to my own Andalite morph that my the hologram of my father gave to me when I was knocked out. "Uh-- should I scream, or just go insane??" Erek asked Bewildered. "Hey, "insane" is my word man!" Justin said joking. <My father is--uh--was Elfangor. Austin and Sara are twins. Austin grew up on Earth after the Great Ellimist sent him here, but Sara grew up on the Andalite home world. And of course, almost all the Andalites call other Andalites their "Andalite cousins.> Tobias said now on the ground and in full Andalite morph. Tobias changed back to Hawk and then spotted Brittany in the distance walking back with a coke. "Oh my gosh, I think I・ve seen one to many big blue people." Becka said fainting. "Becka!!" Zac said rushing over to her and grabbing her hand. Justin and Brittany gave each other sly glances. "Oh my god!! Like-- to many like-- tale blades. I・m going to like-- faint." Brittany and Justin at the said same time before falling down like they were fainting. I changed back to human and watched their performance. "Shut up you two!" Zac said angry at Brittany and Justin. Then Tobias, Erek, Brittany, Justin, and I all broke out into a uncontrollable laughter. "Hey! That was supposed to be my romantic near death experience!" Becka said sitting up and enraged. "Ohhh, I・d like to thank the Academy and my producers for everything. I love you all so much!! You all love me!! You really love me!!" Justin and Brittany said at the same time. Both of them acting like they just received the Oscar and now bowing like they were receiving flowers and applause. "Hey that looks like fun." I said coming over and beginning bowing with them. "All of you are like-- idiots!!" Becka said getting up and tossing her hair over her shoulder. "Ooga ooga." Brittany and I both said like to prehistoric cave people. "Ooga??" Justin asked confused in a funny way causing Erek, Tobias, Brittany and I to break out laughing once again. We all continued on to my house (everyone in human morph) except Tobias whom flew back to his meadow. {Enough with the histerical, side splitting, knock-your-sock-off, slapstick, pee-in-your-pants comedy! End of chapter.}
"Hey Britt, I thought you weren・t going to hang with us anymore??" Justin said when we reached my house. "I was interested in the Android. Tell us about you. Are there others??" Brittany asked Erek. "I・m a Chee. We are the great masterpiece of the Permilites. All of our creators have long since died off. We are the only ones that remain. Come on over to my house and I・ll show you where we hang." Erek said. "We・d love to go Erek, but we have a few things to do. We need more Dracon Beams to study and test on to see how they work." Zac said. "We Chee could find a way to get you in there, a place to find the Dracons, and how to avoid Yeerk Security." Erek said. "Wait, like-- how many of you Bionic Beings are there Erek??" Becka said. "We are very big in number Becka. We also love dogs and own almost every Earthling Breed imaginable." Erek said. "Cool, all dogs do go to heaven." Justin said. "Could you please explain to us what you were just about to??" Sara asked Erek. "Yeah. Okay, well the Yeerks are working on a new defense system that won・t be operational for a few months still. But, you just might see a test design while you are down there. Killer Robots. We don・t have all the Info. yet on what they・ll be equipped with, but we know that this is definitely something not to be ignored. Please be careful and use the Info I・m about to tell you with interests only, in saving your wonderful planet." Erek said. "First, how do we know that we can count you staying on our side??" I asked a little paranoid. "Well, any Chee would rather be deleted before exposing any of our secrets. You can consider us your Allies, as well as friends. Plus if we could actually fight and bestow damage, then I could bend you in a form that would look like an exotic spaced out pretzel, in less than a minuet. We are very very strong." Erek said plainly. I gulped and nodded in understood what he was saying. "We promise we will use the Technology wisely." Zac spoke up. "Well Brittany, since you・re not one of us anymore, you can leave now. We don・t need you hear to listen in right now." Justin said. "Yeah, go desert us. We can do fine without you and your power hungry schemes to take command of the UltraMorphs." Becka said tossing her hair over her shoulders. "What??" Erek asked confused. "I took a short leave to work on training with my powers. I didn・t think I had enough time to train. "But, if you・re not helping them fight the Yeerks, then what are you training for??" Erek asked. "I want to confront Visser Three and take him down in a one-on-one fight to ultimate death." Brittany said like it was nothing. "You can・t fight that good of an opponite without real life training on the field of battle." Erek said. Brittany didn・t say anything for a few minuets. "Just let me hear the plan so I know when to expect you back." Brittany said crossing her arms. "Aw, you wouldn・t miss us, would you??" Justin said laying his head on Brittany・s shoulder. "Ha ha ha, you wish." Brittany said pushing his head off her shoulder and backing up a few steps. "Hey, you and all other girls know you want me. It・s just a matter of time before the playar settles down." Justin bragged. "Get a life!!!" Brittany and Becka said at the same time. "Yeah Justin. Everyone knows that Bib is the best." I said. "Who is Bib??" Justin asked. "Me you retarded dumb butt!!" I yelled. "You are so much like my brother it・s scary. He calls himself Commander Monkey." Brittany said. "Guys, can we discuss the plan now??" Zac asked. The plan was to go in a new entrance, by going into McDonald・s and saying a special access code to the person behind the counter. "I would like a Happy Meal with Extra Happy." Each of us would have to say that at a time before we could enter the secret Yeerk pool inside a refrigerator. Brittany was going to stay behind, she was still under the impression that she should use all of her time to train with new powers. We all said the pass word and gained entrance. We all hesitated before going in. Brittany was the one that always insisted we go in and beat Yeerk butt. It wasn・t the same without her. We all looked at each other for the three and 1/2 words of courage. I choked up the strength and took a step forward. "Let・s do it!!" I said, or at least moved my lips to say it. Becka and Zac also had said it with me. I smiled and Justin then said his words of support. "For all of you Funny Farm escapees, are you sure you want to go through with this totally insane mission??" Justin asked. "Yep." Zac answered. We all walked down the almost pitch black tunnel of plummeting stairs. The walkway to torture. The path, to the Yeerk pool. We were nearing closer to the light of Kandronna rays and screams of horrified humans that awaited a terrible fate worse than death. I closed my eyes as I walked, and hoped that for once that the sound wouldn・t be there when I opened my eyes. I opened my eyes slowly to see what was holding up the sound. My friends in front of me had stopped walking. Things went blurry as we stepped into the sound. My arms and legs felt heavy, and it was like everything wasn・t real. My head was light and full of air. Things seamed to move slowly. "Look." Zac whispered in what seamed like slow motion. Becka pointed a animal figure attacking controllers and taking them down with ease. A panther. A large, black, panther. Someone with the power to morph. "Brittany?" Justin asked us, things still going slow. "No, I do not think it is. This form is powerful, but does not have her distinctive feeling." Sara said. "Get over there behind those boards and morph. We are going to talk to it." Zac said as all of us followed without argument. I crouched down on the floor and started making the change to Andalite. My feet changed to hoofs first. Then my ears improved in sensing sound. I heard someone, no, something behind me. Charging up behind me. My stalk eyes formed and looked behind me to see a large black figure leep on to me. Chapter 4 It leaped on my back and turned me over to stare into my eyes. I stopped morphing and turned back to my form. I broke out into a deep sweat of fear. The others were standing around beside me, not seeing what had happened. I didn・t exactly see them, I wouldn・t dare take my eyes from the beast on top of me. The panther started to de-form into another form. The head started first. The eyes turned into a familiar blue. The nose shrunk into a perfect human nose, the mouth turned into moldel-like lips. The ears disappeared, then re-appeared on the side of the head that was also changing shape. The fur changed into skin and the rest slowly form. It took my eyes a minuet to realize that this was a girl. A girl at least 15-17. She was still perched on top of me and starring into my eyes. Somehow, she scared me more in human form. <Please remove yourself from my brother.> Sara said raising her Andalite tail in an arch. She moved up and then pulled me by the collar of my shirt to my feet. She then pulled a knife from the pocket on her morphing suit. She spun me around and removed her grasp from me for a few seconds. I was faced with my friends who all stood in their real forms. I realizied I was free and tried to move away. Too late. She grabbed my shoulder and raised the blade of the knife to my neck. It scared me, but it・s not the same kind of scare after you・ve had a Andalite tail blade pressed against the place of your neck that vital veins lay. "I don・t want any trouble from any of you. I・m hear on a mission. Interfere, and your Great Powerling gets to know what is like to be Leonardo Decapitated." "Powerling??" Becka asked like she really did care. "A person or being that posses a power beyond the average of the ones surrounded by him in his environment." the girl said. <Let my sibling go. You are bluffing.> Sara said. "Want to try me??" the girl said pressing the knife just a little farther into my neck. "Let him go you bitch!!" A familiar voice said from on top of the boards that created a wall around us. "Brittany!!" Justin said in relief. The girl looked up at Brittany and narrowed her vision on her. "Show your face you bitch." Brittany said as I realizied that the girl・s face must have been hidden by darkness. "There is that word again. Please, explain to me what it means Powerling." the girl said throwing me to the floor before doing a flip jump up onto the boards where Brittany was. "Bitch. Most the time it means a female dog. But I・m using it as a word to express, ．Leave my friends alone before I knock the Crap out of you." Brittany said. "Let・s rumble Female Dog." The girl said concentrating on summoning power to fight with. Brittany began to power up and then unleashed a Juno-Kick Kick at her opponite. The girl stuttered back and wiped the blood from her lip. "You・ll pay for that." she said. "Sorry, I・m a little short on cash." Brittany said kicking again but missing. A pon Brittany・s miss to kick, she slid to the end of the boards and nearly fell off the ledge. "No, no, no. I won・t let you go till I・m done with you." the girl said pulling Brittany back from the ledge by her hair. "Ka-mey-ah-may-ah BLAST!!" Brittany said Blasting the girl in the face and completely charring her hair. The girl flew back after letting go of Brittany and taking the hit. "Hey, don・t you think that the controllers are going to notice two Powerlings fighting up there on those boards, nearly 2 stories above our heads??" Justin said. "They・re going to kill themselves!! We have to stop it!!" I yelled at my friends. "And like-- how are we going to do that?? I agree we should stop it. Like-- I・m the one that is supposed to knock the crap out of Brittany. She has to leave some for me." Becka said. "Search around for some Dracon Beams. We can start firing at them to get they・re attention and to stop them from fighting. And if a Beam should happen to hit that other girl, no loss." Zac said. <Yes sir.> Sara said before splitting away from the rest of the group. I was pared with Justin. That is way, to harsh of a punishment. We were hunting around trying to act like other controllers, when the lights shut off. "Great!! How are we supposed to find anything now!! Man, this is insane." Justin said to me. "Keep looking." I said. "How?? It・s not like we see anything at all in this darkness. It・s not like we・re just going to stumble a pon a big crate full of Dracon Beams." Justin said. Justin a few seconds later, I heard a "OWWWW" and "Damit, my toe!!" "What?" I asked Justin. "I kicked something!! It hurt too!! I think it was wood." He said. "Where??" I asked. "To my left, close to the wall of the cave." He said. I put out my arms and moved to my left, looking for the wall of the cave. I felt the cold stone touch the tip of my fingers. I then reached down and felt the wooden object Justin had stumbled onto. Chapter 5 Conveniently, it was a wooden crate of Dracon Beams. "Shove them into your pockets and carry all you can." I said to Justin. "Shove what??・ Justin asked as I remembered I hadn・t told him what I had found. "The contents of the crate you kicked." I said. I picked up the first Dracon my fingers touched. The strange figure was a harmful weapon. I ran my fingers over it like I was a blind person seeing with my fingers. I then put my finger on the trigger. The button that activated the gun. I knew it well. I then stopped hesitating and shoved it into--- into---- hey, I didn・t have any pockets on my morphing suit. No bag to carry them in. No huge jaws to clap them in. Just three hands. Wait, three hands!?! There was a Hork Bajir beside me with his hand, if you can call it a hand, on my shoulder. "Put that down." the Hork Bajir said. "You say something Austin??・ Justin asked. "Put the guns down. There is a Hork Bajir with a Dracon in my back." I said. "Why do Andalites like human forms so much. The last human I infested was week and defenseless. You must be week to morph a week form Bandit." The Hork Bajir said. The Hork Bajir broke out into a evil laugh. Then there was a loud Zap. The Hork Bajir・s hand left my shoulder before I heard a loud thud. "Well----ummmm---- Zac!! Becka!!! Brittany!! Sara!!! Help!!" I said scared that he had killed Justin. The lights flashed on and I quickly spun around to be face-to-face with a good friend. "Brittany! What happened to you?" I asked. "After beating me up she got away before I could recover and kick her butt." Brittany said limping over with a Dracon in her hand. I looked to the floor and saw a Hork Bajir laying flat and still with the entry hole of a Dracon Beam in the back of it・s head. "Thanks." I said. "Justin got back to me with a couple of Dracon・s before I heard you scream. There was a mode on one of his Beams that created a light to see by. The other・s are getting out as fast as they can." Brittany said. "Who was that girl, how did she get all those powers, and who turned off the lights a minuet ago??" I asked picking up as many of the Dracons as I could carry. Just the same, I found another exit that I already directed Zac and Becka out of. Sara should be here soon." Brittany said. "What do you mean Sara will be here soon??" I asked. Then there was a loud flapping of wings as I saw a Sea Gull fly over and land on the floor beside me. <Put the Dracon Beams in my bill so I may carry them.> the Sea Gull thought spoke. "Here Sara." Brittany said placing a few Dracon・s in the bird・s bill. "I・ll carry these on the way out. Where does the Exit come out anyway??" I asked following Brittany and Sara who were going up a ladder on the wall. "Who knows." Brittany said opening a launch in the ceiling and holding it open for Sara to fly through. "Take some of these." I said to Brittany handing her some Dracon Beams. "You go through next. This is the way out." She said. I went out and found myself in a air duct. "The other・s are waiting at the end of the duct. I think it comes out somewhere above ground. You can・t morph in here, so just make do with crawling." She said sticking her head up through the opening. I started crawling while pushing the Dracons with my knees. Brittany was behind me doing the same. The duct started going up, little by little, as we traveled on. Then I saw light at a end. I grabbed the Dracons in my hand before taking the next step. "WHOA!!!!" I said falling through a tunnel I didn・t see. I fell for half a minuet, the metal duct flashing by beside me. Then I fell down the shoot into a barrel of garbage. "Owww!" Someone said from under -neith me. "Austin like-- get off me!!" Becka said, the same voice as before. "Sorry, I said jumping out of the garbage. I was outside in a alley. Right outside of McDonalds too. "You should be. On the way here I broke a nail." Becka said getting helped out by Zac. Just then there was a echoing scream. Getting closer and closer. I stood there looking around while brushing myself off. I turned around to see Brittany flying out of the shoot towards the place I was standing. "Ahhhh!!" She said. "Ahhhh!!!" I said like an idiot. She then fell into the garbage causing a bunch of Happy Meal bags to fly out of the thing at me. <Where is Justin??> Sara asked from behind me. "Under the garbage. I couldn't find away out." Justin said emerging from the trash. "I bet you feel right at home here Justin." Brittany said flipping out of the can. "You know Brittany, you should be in Gymnastics." Zac said. "I can't use my powers like that. I'm good at Gymnastics because I trained hard. It's like it is part of my powers now. And I will not use my powers for personal reference." Brittany said throwing the trash off her. "Plus I don't want to wear those preppy out fits. This outfit is bad enough." Brittany concluded. "Speaking of you. Why did you come back?" Justin asked hopping out of the can. "I remembered what Erek said. One of the best ways to train is in a real life fight. Plus I missed my friends. Even you Justin." Brittany said. Sometimes fighting the Yeerks can be hard. Hard on anyone. But it is something that needs to be done. Not because we have to. Now, because we choose to. |
