Ultramorphs Chapter 1 Since my friends and I aquired the power to morph, life is hard. It・s my job to make everyone feel happier at some of those harder times. Of course not always do they apeicaite my help. My name is Justin. I・m the youngest UltraMorph. I don・t like to fight and I have no reason to. My battle morph is a camel for crying out loud! I am the group coward and clown. Some of the gang might even call me the village idot behind my back. (I think at times its ture. If you had even saw my science test score....) Now I battle the Yeerks. Things tend to get messy. We were on another mission to the Yeerk Pool. Both groups of Earth Saving teams. We thought that we could maybe find something of the Yeerk records that could help us to find their weaknesses. I was in one of those clowning around moods. <Justin, stay away from the pool. Remember what almost happened to Zac when he was over there? You know, Chapman the contoller?> Brittany said to me in thought speach. "Man, I wish you wouldn・t talk like that to me when you・re in your real form. I can・t talk like that while in this form. I don・t have electrical powers. I can・t trun into liquid!" I complained getting louder and louder. "Shush!!" everyone wispered to me. We travled on in the line of Sharing members. Screams echoed all around the Yeerk pools. In the distance of the back walls you could see the cages in which the Hork-Bajir where kept. Those creatures were monsterous sky-scraping nightmares. I hated to see alien creatures. Alien creatures always seamed to be man-eating beasts. Thats one of the reasons I hated to go down to the Yeerk pools. Everyone travled on. We found a door and so we all broke away from the line of members and slipt through the door, unnoticed. The hole room was pitch black. Marco and I searched for the light then failing to find one we both complained to our friends, "This is nuts!!!" "I have an idea." Austin said. Then he clapped his hands twice and the room flooded with light. "Oh look, clap on clap off the clapper." I said. The room was very big. A large hall was how Brittany described it. It looked like a movie theater but without the screan and rows of seats. There were six doors at the other end of the room. "Each of us split into groups of two and go through a door." Jake said. So Brittany and Cassie, Austin and Tobias, Jake and Zac, Ax and Sara, Rachel and Becka, and Marco and I were pared up. Marco and I took the last door. We went throgh the door and saw a strange golden disk. The disk however, levitated over a round pool of water. That disk had to be of great importance to be that gaurded. "Thats it! Thats what we need!" Marco exclaimed in happiness. "So go get it." I said. "Me? Oh no my friend, that・s a little too far. I mean that・s nuts!!" Marco said back. "Fine then. I guess I・ll just have to get it." I said in a suprising high shrill voice. I got up on the concrete siding of the pool and reached for the disk. My arms were short and chuby making it impossible for me to reach the disk. I shifted my wait just enough trying to reach for it that I got myself off balance. Just before I fell into the pool of an usualla substance I saw Jake and Zac come through the door. The pool of water was deep. I could swim but not under emergencies. I lost my head and fought the water insted of using it. "The pool is a small Yeerk Pool!" I heard Jake say from which seemed like a distance. I knew I was drowning as water flooded into my chest and I tried to reach for my friends・s hands. The moment right before I blanked out I remeber hearing a strange evil laugh. A laugh that was sent to my brain by thought speech. Chapter 2 I woke up in a stange place. It wasn・t a room but it wasn・t outside. It wasn・t Earthly. The smell, the feel, the look of it was all to strange. And there was no sound that I could hear. I woke up completely dry. But none of my friends were around me. My clothes were nice and clean again, and my hair was suprisingly brushed. <Oh, so you・re awake now aren・t you?> I heard the voice say. The same voice I heard laugh that errie laugh. "Where am I? Am I dead?" I asked standing up and looking around. <Oh no, but you might say you・re as good as dead. You see, I am Velocity-Vision4000, and I am the new inhabbitance of your body.> "But my body is right here...." I said confused. <No, you・re inside your own body right now. You are the last remaining part of you that I haven・t take over. Some earthligns call it a soul, a will, whatever you may. I call it a pain. But never the less, I always kill your kind off sooner or later. I am what you call a Yeerk. I am running through your brain and learning all your secrets, your thoughts, your dreams. Don・t worry, everyone has one big secret. So what・s your・s Justin?> The Yeerk said. "No....my friends would have saved me before they would alow you to go into my brain. You..... You....." I said. <You may call me V-V-4000. Oh, and just to put you through more pain, I have prepared a treat for you. If you will watch that screen you will see everything you would see if you were really doing it. Oh and don・t bother to try and do anything. You can never beat a Yeerk.> the voice said. I focused my eyes on a screen and whitneseed something that pained me. "Wake up Justin!! Come on, wake up man. I・m sorry I made you try and get the disk, just don・t die!" Marco said to my motienless body back at Zac・s house. Evidently everyone brought me back here and I was still uncoincous. "Maybe you should give him mouth to mouth." Austin said to Brittany. "How would you like it if I knocked you mouth off with my fist or electricuted it with my powers!" Brittany said to Austin. "He・s coming to guys." Cassie said as my eyes opened to see all my friends around me. I sat and watched as they were decieved by the Yeerk. If my host got back to Visser Three and rated out on my friends, their lifes would be over. Visser Three thinks that all 12 of us are Andalites still. He dosen・t even know there・s that many of us anyway. I couldn・t let my friends die. I had to do something. I consentrated very hard until I made my host raise my Hand and point to my ear. Making sure that Jake and Zac saw me. "Justin, are you okay?" Zac said as his eyes grew wide. "Yeah, I・m just a little delerious from the cold water." my controlled host answered. "Well don・t mind us. I guess we・re all just a little worried about you being in a Yeerk Tank for that long. It・s sort of surprising that you don・t have a Yeerk in your head." Rachel said. "Well, you know me. Brave, fearless, ready for anything." I said. "No, we don・t. Because you・re not brave and fealess. And that wasn・t in a joking tone you just used." Jake said walking up to me and staring me down. "You・re a controller. You・re infested. You possess a Yeerk in your head." Austin said. "So what if I did? How could 8 kids and 3 Andalites stop me from going to Visser Three and telling him everything." my host said. "Three Andalites? Is there another one on this planet?" Cassie asked. "Humans, they can・t sense a Andalite child when he・s right under ones nose." I said. "You don・t know that he possesses the power to Morph into an Andalite form? He is a child of an Andalite Worrior Prince. All Yeerks can sense that!" the controller said poniting to Austin. "Austin..... he・s not a......." Brittany began with a shaky voice. "Yes I am. I was going to tell all of you. I・ve had it a secret now for some time. About two weeks after Sara arived I found out. I just kncked out and when I was I met my father. An Andalite. He gave me the power to Morph into my Andalite form." Austin said looking down to the ground with shame. <I thought you had told all of them Prince Lucas.> Ax said to Austin. "No I didn・t. Too much had gone on. Brittany discovering her past, Becka and Zac getting transported to the Yeerk Mother Ship, All of us meeting the Animorphs. I couldn・t spring that on to all of you." Austin said. "Guys, right now we have to worry about Justin and his Yeerk. I say we lock him up at Cassie・s barn for three days." Jake said giving Austin a rest. "Right, lets take him there now." Zac said going into his closet and bringing out some rope to tie me up with. Chapter 3 They tied me up then took me to Cassie・s house by means of the woods. They then put me in an animal cage and place bread and water in the cage. "You won・t get away with this!! I will escape and report back to Visser Three!!" I said through the cage. "Try if you might, but you・re going to be under constant watch. I・ll start the first." Brittany said. "Yeah, I・ll help." Austin said. I quieted down as Brittany and Austin played cards for awhile. Then my Yeerk said a few things just to get them mad. "So, how are to getting along." the Yeerk said. "Fine." Brittany said as she still kept her mind on the game. "It・s very strange that a Andalite and a Elimist Child should be friends. I can hardly enven recall a time when they even associated with one another. Not quite enemys I・d say, but not Allies either." the Yeerk said. "Shut up I don・t feel like listening to you right now." Brittany said. "I know who killed you father Anita." the Yeerk said holding onto the bars of the cage and looking out at Brittany with evil eyes. I could feel those evil eyes and I knew I couldn・t stop them from peering at my friends. "I don・t even know my real parents. I have no recolection at all of my life." Brittany said. "Well let me start telling you two the story. There was much despute between the Yeerks and the Elimists. We destroyed one of the Elimist two home planets. We were on a stand by to lanched a full scale attack on the third. Any and all Elimists that were left were on that planet. Even the Roal Family, the Barons. Your father was the King and most powerful, his wife was the most Beuitiful and wisest. Your father was in a Peace meeting with Visser Three when Visser Three broke the Cease of Fire and killed your father. Everyone on the planet ran in Panic. Your mother sent you into a Space Pod to be reborn on Earth. You Mother hadn・t enough time to save herself. Visser Three walked up to her in his Elimistest morph. And began to make a bargan with her. "My dear, come with me and you shall become the most powerfull woman in the Universe. You could be Visser One. For let me say, you are already the most beuitiful. Join us my dear, you won・t regret it." Visser Three said to her most gerously. "Never, not when your people have done what you did. Kill me now and let me see no more of your awful destruction." your mother said. "Kill you?? Why should I do so with such an Angelic creature of brains and beuity." Visser Three said. "Because I can not fight you and I will not turn my back on my people and join you." she said. "If you join me, the lifes of your people will be spared." Visser Three told her. She ran to the window to look at her people dieing in the streets and houses of which they were born. In which she and her daughter were born. A tear fell from her eye and she said very softly, "No, I will not join you." "Oh so smart and yet oh so un logical. Kill all of them, except her." Visser three said to her. And so Visser Three sent her to the Nexus, a place inbetween time, and the land of spirts. But because time in the Nexus goes by much faster than time anywhere else, your mother was able to save all of her people still living and destroyed the planet so none could rule it. Her people were spred out all over the universe, some still in the Nexus with her. But she had grown to week and could not return to time and space to live, until 20 years could pass. 20 years that is, Galactical Space time. It is a pitty that we couldn・t have her join us, oh that planet was big. Just right for our kandronna rays and Yeerk pools." I said. "Shut up. I・ve heard enough out of you. I wont believe you!! Visser Three could never kill my father!! If my father was that powerful then my father could kill Visser Three!" Brittany said enraged even more. "Really, it・s too easy to get you up set. Which button should I push next to get you・re steam to rise." the Yeerk said. "She said shut up! And if you don・t you・ll be escargo!!" Austin said getting up from the card table. "I ignore you feeble and hollow threts. You can・t do anything to me without hurting Justin and you know it. So why don・t you two little hosts get back to you・re card game." I said. Before I or the Yeerk could think a thought Brittany had the cage door open and her hand around my neck. "Shut up before I make you. If it isn・t enough what you kind does already. To my friends, to inosent people, to everyone. Shut up!!!" Brittany said sternly with a tear rolling down her cheack. "Go get some air Brittany. I・ll watch the pond skum." Austin said.
Chapter 4 Everyone took turns watching me. The hours went by and the Yeerk continued to enrage my friends. By mostly telling them how our planet would be taken over by the Yeerks. Three days past and the Yeerk escaped from my head. There by followed by me stepping on the slug and spredding it・s guts all over my shoe. "You・re back!!" Cassie said coming over tome and giving me a quick hug of friendship. "Why don・t I ever get that kind of attention." Marco said joking. Brittany came over and then for no reason punched me hard in the stomac. I was caught off gaurd and fell to my knees and gasped for air. "Don・t ever do that to me again!! Your Yeerk has a real bad attiuted and I almost choked you to death!" Brittany said. "Yeah, nice to see you to." I said getting up from the ground. Everyone welcomed me and we all talked for awhile. Things were good, and life was good. But I knew I would still have to go back to the Yeerk pool another day. But at least I had friends that cared about me. Yeah, I still don・t like fighting the Yeerks and still have no reason to. But its what I have to do, and what I・m going to do as long as this thing lasts. |
