Peach Cobbler


 

3 cups fresh peaches, sliced and slightly sweetened
1 TBSP lemon juice
1 cup flour, sifted
1 cup sugar
½ teaspoon salt
1 egg, beaten
6 TBSP margarine, melted.

Place peaches in an oblong baking dish. Sprinkle with lemon juice. Sift dry ingredients together and combine with egg, mixing until crumbly. Sprinkle over peaches. Cover with margarine and bake in a 375° oven for 35 to 45 minutes or until crusty and brown. Serve warm with ice cream.
