Green Bean Casserole


 

 

½ stick butter
2-3 cans green beans (regular size cans)
1 can sliced water chestnuts
1 small onion, chopped
minced garlic to taste
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
onion rings

Preheat oven to 350°.  Cook beans.  Butter casserole.  Sprinkle bottom of dish with minced garlic.  Pour ½ of green beans evenly in the casserole dish.  Top with onion, mined garlic and water chestnuts.  Pour remaining green beans on top.  Spread cream of mushroom soup over beans.  Top with cheese and onion rings.  Cook 30-35 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
