Freewheelers FC
A lot of moaning, not much training;... and sometimes....  a little bit of football
Welcome to the homepage of Freewheelers Football Club, of Clondalkin, Dublin.
Founded in 1988, Freewheelers compete in the
Leinster Senior League . (Division 2, Saturday).
Having played a number of seasons in the Sunday leagues it was decided this year, to make the switch to Saturday football. The change was largely due to 'Giller' being fed up with the levels of drunkeness among most of his key players on a Sunday morning.
'Ego' is also back, taking a more 'hands on' approach this year in assisting Giller; So the club can look forward to what should be an eventful season. I already feel sorry for opposing players, referees and indeed some of our own players, as Ego is unlikely to be very forgiving, should a player not "get his head up" or for failing to "do it simple".
Come down to The Community Centre in Clondalkin next Saturday and see for yourself!.(though probably best to leave the kiddies at home)
Whatever happens this season, there'll scarcely be a dull moment.
