Interestingly, the 'A' side is one of my first radio memories ... which may help explain why it still has a special place in my heart. 'Course the fact that it has an instantly recognizable melody doesn't hurt. Two needless pieces of trivia - Williams originally named the track 'Classical Gasoline', but it was abbreviated by the printing plant. The song won three Grammies: Best Instrumental Composition, Best Contemporary Pop Performance and Best Instrumental Arrangement. There's also a website dedicated to the song at: http://www.classicalgas.com/ The flip side's a pretty, but rather MOR piece of fluff chiefly of note for including a Williams vocal. He actually has a decent voice, though the song doesn't exactly spotlight it.
