Partial Solar Eclipse 04 December 1983

Herentals, Belgium

General: Time 12h10m, Alt. 15 degrees, Saros 132, 1 % (Max AE 04m01s)

During reception of Andre Torfs, my direct boss that time at Estee Lauder. Went a little further in a small street to observe the eclipse. Sun alt only 15 degrees.

It would be one of the smallest SE in Belgium. In Herentals 1 %, though in Kortrijk 2 %.  Eclipse was annular in Zaire, though no money to travel.

Observed and photographed the partial eclipse successful.

The weather was excellent.
