PITY II has a legal team to assist it in dealings with the Inquiry Team. Ian Cohen from Goodmans is the solicitor, assisted by Vicky and Janine. There are also two barristers, Ian Goldrein and Scott Donovan. They met recently with the group, and a brief account of that meeting is included in this month's newsletter.

Individual parents can, of course, have their own solicitors to give them advice and the group would encourage people to do so. There are a number of firms both in Liverpool and beyond who have clients affected by the scandal.

 

 

PITY II (Parents who have Interred Their Young Twice) is the parents' support group set up in the wake of the organ retention scandal
