Meeting With The Legal Team

A meeting was held with the legal team on Tuesday 14th March so they could update the group on what they had been doing, and seek a mandate to continue to work with the Inquiry Team.

As usual this was a very lively and challenging meeting, with tempers running high. Many parents feel the only solution is for a full Public Inquiry, but the need to work with the Independent Inquiry was emphasised. The case for a Public Inquiry will be much weaker if we haven't demonstrated our willingness to work with the Independent Inquiry.

At the end of the meeting the vote was overwhelmingly in favour of working with the Independent Inquiry. If you want more details of what was discussed, the office and Co-ordinators have notes of the meeting.
